The forthcoming 2023 Range Rover Evoque is still one of the most popular British SUVs. New model will be the most luxurious one so far. The all-new model has been spied for the first time, doing some tests in England. Thanks to that, we know the Range Rover Evoque SUV is going to introduce several changes according. The biggest mystery about the Evoque variant is if this model will gain a longer wheelbase.
The Evoque will continue to offer a modern shape with sharper styling. We especially like the side profile of the vehicle. There will be two engine options under the hood, so a new powertrain is not an option at the moment. The sales will begin later this year and here’s everything you need to know about this model.
Range Rover Evoque Will Introduce Another Facelift
It is easy to see that the all-new 2023 Range Rover Evoque looks larger despite heavy camouflage. Thanks to that extra length, Evoque will offer more space inside the cabin. The new model will probably look like its predecessor. It seems like the manufacturer will change SUV’s dimensions, while the exterior design won’t change at all.
Overall, spy photos are showing the same styling cues and design language. We hope to see minor upgrades on the bumpers, slimmer headlights, and larger air intakes. Version with the longer wheelbase will introduce the same design as well, but the sloping roofline could be slightly different. Still, we are waiting for the camouflage to come off.
Interior Improvements
The upcoming 2023 Range Rover Evoque delivers more space on the inside. This is the most significant update for 2023. The current model already offers more than enough interior room. However, combine that extra space with a high level of comfort and you’ll get a new Evoque model. Longer trips will be even more comfortable, especially for the rear occupants.
The seating layout won’t change at all, and we don’t expect to see major interior changes of any kind. There will be three rows of seats and a room for seven passengers. Spy photos failed to provide the latest cabin refreshments, but a new and optional infotainment touchscreen could be on offer.
Under the Hood
The engine lineup of the 2023 Range Rover Evoque remains the same. The S, SE, and First Edition trim levels are using a 2.0-liter engine with 246 horsepower. This mill is connected to an automatic 9-speed transmission, coupled with an all-wheel-drive configuration.
The R-Dynamic model with hybrid technology, however, is a greener and generally better option. This system provides a mild-hybrid 48-volt upgrade using the same 2.0-liter turbo and a hybrid starter-generator. Exact specs are not available at the moment. However, the manufacturer confirmed will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds, while the standard engine needs 7.0 seconds for the same distance.
2023 Range Rover Evoque Release Date, Price
The 2023 Range Rover Evoque will most likely arrive later this year. Its larger size won’t affect the price, so the new model will once again cost around $48,000. The Evoque variant will rival other luxury SUVs such as Lexus NX, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and Audi Q5.
The models R- Dynamic vary between $47,595 and $56,795, and the first edition begins at $57,845. The Evoque prices are higher than those of Audi Q5, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and Lexus NX, compared with other models in the same group.
