The new 2023 Chevrolet Colorado is an excellent mid-size pickup truck that will be available at some point next year, starting at $26,400. Like its corporate sibling GMC Canyon, forthcoming Colorado offers handsome styling and a very spacious cabin. Generally, Chevy ensures a modern infotainment system, plenty of driver-assistance features, and the most important, very potent engines.
Like the previous generation truck, the new Colorado boasts three different engines. This model including four-cylinder gasoline, a surprisingly quick V-6 powertrain, and a stump-pulling diesel four-cylinder.
2023 Chevrolet Colorado Design Updates
The exterior of the upcoming 2023 Chevrolet Colorado is updated. Generally, most of the changes over the previous pickup can be seen on the front fascia. First of all, WT, LT, and Z71 models are featuring lower facias, center bars, and skid plates.
However, jumping to the off-road ZR2 model, buyers can expect a new front fascia that looks more aggressive than any trim. Basically, this model uses the same traditional body-on-frame architecture, resulting in a tough-looking and robust design. The ZR2 also comes with modified suspension, tubular rocker protection and is ready to go rock-crawling. The Bison version is available as well and is specifically designed to conquer the most challenging terrains. This model includes five hot-stamped Boron steel skid plates, AEV Stamped Steel front and rear bumpers, AEV-designed wheel flares, and stylish 17-inch wheels.
Technology Suite
Inside, the forthcoming 2023 Chevrolet Colorado will be more modern. The new model will replace cheap plastic with better materials, but it will keep the same familiar layout. However, unlike many competitors, Chevy doesn’t offer premium interior and finish materials, even on the upgraded trim levels.
For 2023, the manufacturer will use an upgraded Infotainment 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Also, one can expect more supportive seats, with a decent passenger room in the second row. Like before, Colorado offers a vast number of driver-assistance technology, including forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, and rear parking sensor. However, ZR2 is the most expensive trim that will add more premium materials and features.
