2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee – Next-Gen Model Gets a Redesign New

Posted on

The forthcoming 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is about to get additional visual upgrades. Firstly, we’ve seen the spy shots, and now we have the rendering. While renderings are not official, it provides a more detailed look at how the new Grand Cherokee could look like. The spy photos are showing more than enough, and it seems like the next-gen Cherokee is on the way.

That means the manufacturer will also deliver various interior upgrades. As for the performance, things should remain intact. A hybrid powertrain is still just a rumor, but the Trackhawk variant is imminent. The sales will begin at some point in 2021, and the price will slightly increase.

2023 Grand Cherokee Rendered

The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee was spied this June. The spy shots are showing a prototype with a new grille and the headlights. However, the seven-slot grille layout remains, which is great. Now, the renderings are showing us more details and Jeep’s latest novelties. The grille will slightly grow in size, while the headlights are slimmer than before. Still, the face is recognizable, and it won’t mainly depart from other Jeep’s crossovers and SUVs.

The side profile continues with the chunky design language. This is very interesting as the segment is full of stylish SUVs with gorgeous body lines. However, wheel arches are bigger, so the 2023 Grand Cherokee will make a real standout in the crowd. The new model will ride on the same platform that underpins Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio models. Thanks to that, even the wheelbase will be longer, so the third-row is available.

Interior Updates

On the inside, a new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee will get significant upgrades. However, renderings of the interior are not available. On the other hand, spy shots are showing us a glimpse of the new interior design. While the exterior changes are conservative, the interior will gain more upscale updates. Accept it, Jeep is a luxury brand for years now. Every brand’s vehicle is full of high-tech amenities and high-quality materials.

The next-gen Grand Cherokee will be no different. From what we saw, this SUV will get a larger infotainment touchscreen and a more prominent center stack. The stack is flanked by leather materials around the dash and digital instrument cluster. Some buttons are still available, but the design looks cleaner, and the interior is simpler.

Engine Specs, Trackhawk

The engine of the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee will largely remain. It is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that is available in almost Jeep’s every SUV and pickup truck. Potent V6 produces 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A 5.7-liter output is optional, and it can generate up to 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of twisting power. Still, while the new engine is a possibility, it is still too early to speculate about it.

That also includes a hybrid powertrain option. If you want more power, new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers its astonishing Trackhawk variant. This version comes with a 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine, and it will deliver 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque.

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Price and Release Date

The price of the next-gen 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee will start below $40,000. On the other hand, the mentioned Trackhawk variant could cost around $90,000. The changes are significant, so price increase makes perfect sense. Jeep will launch its new SUV at some point in 2021, probably in the second half.
