2023 Ram 1500 front

Officially, the redesigned 2023 Ram 1500 variant is coming, and we can expect its arrival next year. This pickup is one of the most attractive in the mid-size segments, featuring plenty of advanced technology and luxury. Reportedly, for 2023, the Ram 1500 will be more eye-catchy, and it should receive some mild upgrades.

On top of that, it will deploy some of the new engines. From what we heard, it could be powered by either a V6 or V8 gasoline powertrain, delivering excellent performances thanks to a 48-volt hybrid system.

2023 Ram 1500 Changes

In visual terms, the new 2023 Ram 1500 will gains some mild upgrades. Basically, this pickup truck will most than likely be a carryover model. Dimensionally it will be same proportions as before. The current Ram 1500 comes with an extended wheelbase of 114.5-inches, which is still far from the Ford’s F-150 with a 141.1-inch wheelbase and Chevy’s Silverado with 139.6-inches of wheelbase.

The Ram 1500 is a solidly built pickup truck that will stand out from its rivals with its ruggedly styling. Overall, for 2023, buyers can expect slightly slimmer LED headlights and a much more attractive grille. However, the new model will keep the same 18-inch steel wheels carried over from the previous model. However, the Ram TRX is the favorite model, beefed up with off-road chassis and suspension. Thanks to that, the TRX is an outstanding off-roader.

Cabin Improvements

So far, there is no single complaint about the cabin of the Ram 1500 model. Everything inside is modern, and we can expect the same to stay on the upcoming variant. First of all, the cabin is roomy, offering just enough room to fit five passengers comfortably. There are 50.3 cubic feet of cargo space, which is much less than the GMC’s Sierras 89.1 cubic feet.

Stepping inside the base model, you’ll be surprised with the luxury that this model offers, even on lower trims. Compared to other rivals, the Ram 1500 comes with above-average quality materials. It offers a standard 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen, air conditioning, vinyl floors and seats, cruise control, and a manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel.

There are many speculations about the engine of the 2023 Ram 1500. Suppose that rumors come true, the upcoming truck will get some of the new engines. The closest ones indicate that we can expect either a V6 or V8 gasoline powertrains. Both units should come as standard with smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. Interestingly, we expect both to be available with a new 48-volt hybrid system, delivering excellent fuel efficiency.
