If you want more sportiness, go for the R-Dynamic package that delivers monochrome lower-body elements, unique wheels, and additional black accents.
Interior Changes
The interior will take a different approach and it won’t introduce so sporty upgrades. The cabin of the 2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport will gain a cleaner and more upright look. Discovery Sport is a more premium variant than the base trim level so it comes with more high-quality materials. On top of that, this SUV will offer more tech. The third-row is optional, so Discovery remains a five-seat SUV unless you decide to buy a seven-seat variant.
A 10-inch touchscreen is standard and it comes with updated infotainment and better graphics. Features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and navigation are all offered as standard too. The digital instrument cluster looks great and hopefully, the interior will gain more advanced driver-assistance aids.
New Mild-Hybrid Powertrain Option
A new engine is a possibility for the new 2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport. According to the latest reports, a mild-hybrid variant is in the works. It is a gasoline-hybrid mix that will be available in the Black Edition model. New powertrain will produce up to 290 horsepower. The diesel engine could also be coupled with a mild-hybrid system so we should expect higher torque figures and improved fuel efficiency.

Discovery SUV can tow 4,400 pounds at the moment. No doubt, towing capacity will be significantly improved as well. Besides the mentioned hybrid variant, Discovery Sport will offer the same gasoline engines with 163 hp and 204 hp.

The price of the forthcoming 2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport will start below $40,000. However, the exact price is something that we are waiting to hear in the coming weeks. The approaching SUV will go on sale by the end of the year and its sportier R-Dynamic S version will arrive as well. This version will cost around $65,000.
