According to these photos, Levante’s range-topping trim level will get another mid-cycle refresh. Trofeo comes with plenty of luxury and it adds more power. Moreover, its appearance is more aggressive and sportier.
For 2023, Levante Trofeo will remain in terms of dimensions and shape. However, some tweaks, mostly on the front fascia will surely happen. The Interior is also getting a couple of more than welcoming refreshments. Still, the most significant upgrade is the new V8 engine that should deliver even more power.
2023 Levante Trofeo Spy Photos
A spied prototype was wearing full camo. New 2023 Maserati Levante Trofeo will gain modest updates in terms of design. Yes, camouflage perfectly hides most of the vehicle but some changes are easy to spot. For a start, front fascia looks different at first glance. The front bumper has been revised thanks to the reshaped headlights and revised bumper. On top of that, tweaks on the grille as noticeable as well.
The same story continues in the back with the same treatment of the taillights and rear bumper. To the sides, we couldn’t spot any difference, unfortunately. Surely, dimensions will remain, along with the shape of the SUV. According to various reports, Levante Trofeo will borrow some styling cues from Quattroporte. However, more details will be revealed closer to the launch date.
Interior Gets All-Digital Instrument Panel
On the inside, this luxury SUV will also get a couple of upgrades. The 2023 Maserati Levante Trofeo is the range-topping trim level. For that reason, everything inside the cabin looks more than premium, not to say expensive. According to the spy photographs, Trofeo will get new black cloth materials. A new cloth is visible on the dashboard and instrument panel. This clearly suggests that the new interior color schemes could become available.
Moreover, Maserati will introduce a brand-new instrument cluster that is all-digital. Unfortunately, the rest of the interior is not available at the moment. No doubt, this SUV will surely gain new driver-assistance aids, upgraded infotainment system, and possibly larger displays. The list of the standard equipment will remain impressive as always before.
New V8 Engine is in the Works
Another thing we spotted on the spy photos is the sticker on the rear-passenger windshield. According to that, a new 2023 Maserati Levante Trofeo will get a new engine. It is a 4.0-liter V8 gasoline engine. The current version is available with a 3.8-liter V8 that is producing 590 hp. Moreover, this engine generates 538 lb-ft of torque. The question is why Maserati now plans to deliver larger displacement? There are a couple of possible reasons for such a radical move.

One reason is that the Maserati needs to meet new emission regulations. On the other hand, this is a perfect time to separate GTS trim level from the Levante Trofeo variant. That means the 3.8-liter V8 will remain in the GTS version. On the other hand, Trofeo will get new 4.0-liter V8 with even more power.
