Nissan will build its new model in the Mississippi plant, along with the Titan XD variant. As for the regular Titan, it will continue to use its proven V8 turbodiesel engine.
That also means the F-Alpha architecture remains too. Still, the latest changes will additionally refresh this pickup truck. However, the redesign is not on the cards yet. Even the interior will get minor updates. We only have to wait for Nissan to release engine specs because some rumors are suggesting improved performance.
2023 Titan Exterior Facelift
In terms of styling, the new 2023 Nissan Titan won’t change that much. Of course, we are talking about significant upgrades. This pickup will arrive with small exterior refinements as a part of mid-cycle updates. That means Titan will get small modifications on the front fascia, specifically. The grille has been reshaped and the headlights are slightly larger than before. Titan will stick to its F-Alpha platform so there won’t be dimensional changes.
Nissan’s recognizable six-spoke wheels are also available, along with the all-terrain tires. You can get Titan in its King Cab setup and this pickup will offer the same number of trim levels. Overall, the changes are far from drastic but the new model will surely look more stylish than its predecessor.
Interior Updates
The interior will get further modernization. Besides that, the new 2023 Nissan Titan will remain. That means the seating layout and the cabin design are a carryover. As for the updates, the infotainment system is new. It comes with a seven-inch display that features new graphics and simpler menus. Moreover, the new infotainment system is also quicker.
The center stack will suffer really minor modifications and Titan will gain various brand-new safety systems. There is a room for five passengers and base trim level comes with standard cloth upholstery. Leather seats, additional chrome accents, and larger display are available on upper trim levels.
New Engine Still Just a Rumor
Some rumors about the new 3.7-liter V6 are still present. The forthcoming 2023 Nissan Titan could get this new engine option along with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The same reports are saying that Nissan plans to lower the starting price of the base trim level. The less-powerful engine is a perfect solution but we are not sure how much truth is in this story.
