The arriving SUV will arrive with new exterior paint, new wheels, and upgraded Fox shocks. Most of the exterior changes are visible at first glance, and 4Runner TRD Pro will finally introduce standard LED headlamps.
As the base trim level, TRD Pro will use the same powertrain option, and it is a potent V6 gasoline engine. The interior will suffer a couple of refinements too, and the sales of the new 4Runner should start by the end of the year.

This SUV comes with a Multi-Information Display, and this unit provides information such as outside temperature, average fuel economy, and various different details. Dual-zone automatic climate control is available, and Toyota will also install a new air filter. Lastly, 4Runner TRD Pro will get a backup camera, leather steering wheel, and the latest driver-assistance.
Performance Specs
The 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro will continue to offer a proven and already familiar engine. It is a 4.0-liter V6 gasoline engine with 270 horsepower. Moreover, this engine is capable of producing 278 lb-ft of torque. Toyota promised two gearbox options, including a five-speed automatic transmission. The second option is a new six-speed transmission.

As before, the customers can choose between RWD and 4WD setups. Besides new shocks, 4Runner TRD Pro will get a new exhaust system. Thanks to that, this SUV will sound better than before. Generally, 4Runner won’t produce more power, but its ride quality will be significantly improved.
