The upcoming 2023 BMW X6 is coming once again to the markets. However, this time BMW opted for minor changes and updates. It is a popular SUV with a coupe-like appearance that also offers stylish design and very modern interior design. The X6 model is a premium SUV and it comes with more than enough luxury. However, the new model will be a carryover.
Changes are very minor, which isn’t a bad thing. This SUV already looks refreshed and none of its features are looking out of date. Under the hood, the BMW X6 offers different engine options and all of them are providing great performances. As before, rear-wheel-drive remains standard and the sales of the new X6 SUV will begin by the end of the year.
BMW X6 Design
As you probably know, the X6 SUV received its last redesign in 2023. Thanks to that, the 2023 BMW X6 will hit the markets with minor changes. This model looks refreshed and it comes with a recognizable design language. It is a mid-size SUV with a premium design and sportier stance. A coupe-like appearance is the highlight of the X6 model in our opinion. The upgrades are not so dramatic, so we expect to see very minor tweaks on the front fascia.
That includes slightly larger LED headlights and even the kidney grille could grow in size as well. After all, BMW already did the same thing with the X7 SUV. The rear section won’t change, so the X6 model will once again offer slimmer taillights. The German manufacturer could offer new optional wheels and maybe one or two new exterior paints.
Interior Updates
The all-new 2023 BMW X6 will continue to offer a very stylish and premium interior. Everything on the inside looks very upright and modern. The comfort is great and even the cabin space is generous. This SUV offers a recognizable dashboard with angular lines and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen. The air vents are unique, along with the center console that is driver-oriented. Some interior features are looking sportier, mainly its three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters.
As before, this SUV offers standard Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 10-speaker sound system, and Bluetooth. A larger digital instrument cluster is optional, just like the Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless smartphone charger. Unfortunately, the 2023MY will introduce only updated infotainment and possibly new driver-assistance aids.
X6 SUV Offers Great Performances
In terms of performances, the 2023 BMW X6 will offer the same engine lineup as its predecessor. There will be two engine options and everything starts with a 3.0-liter turbo-six engine with 335 horsepower. Optionally, a 4.4-liter V8 engine is more capable as it generates 523 horsepower. Moreover, the same engine offers even higher outputs that are rated at 600 horsepower and 617 horsepower. A rear-wheel-drive setup remains standard, along with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
2023 BMW X6 Release Date, Price
The price of the forthcoming 2023 BMW X6 will start at about $65,000. On the other hand, the range-topping trim level will cost up to $110,000. The sales will begin later in 2021, most likely this November.
