2023 Chevy Avalanche Really Can Make a Comeback?

2023 Chevy Avalanche release date

Chevy Avalanche was a popular pickup back in the days. Now, this model could make a comeback as the 2023 Chevy Avalanche. In our honest opinion, we find this unlikely to happen. However, rumors are present every day. We would like to see this model in the near future and Chevrolet could change its politics about its pickup truck lineup. That means the Avalanche could make a huge return.

According to the latest speculations, Avalanche will be based on SUVs such as Suburban and Tahoe. Beside SUV-like exterior design, Chevrolet could make use of an independent rear suspension that is available in the mentioned SUVs. Definitely, Chevy has what it takes and Avalanche could really arrive which we personally would like to see. However, the chance of that happening is small.

2023 Avalanche Redesign

First reports suggested for new 2023 Chevy Avalanche to look unique. Now, rumors are saying that the Avalanche could borrow plenty of things from Chevrolet’s SUV lineup. If that really happens, Avalanche will use styling cues from Tahoe and Suburban models. So far, we have the renderings that are looking promising. The same render photos are showing Avalanche as a somewhat sporty pickup truck. It looks handsome with beautiful dark gray finishes and new front fascia.

Tweaks are made everywhere, including on the company’s recognizable grille and LED headlights. The grille hosts prominent “CHEVROLET” lettering, something you can see on the Colorado ZR2 Bison. Avalanche also comes with standard 20-inch wheels and overall, it does look sleeker than any other pickup in the Chevrolet’s lineup. However, this is just renderings and nothing is official yet.

Interior Details

Theoretically, the brand-new 2023 Chevy Avalanche will offer a crew cab configuration. This is a very important thing to offer as the seating capacity will be increased to five or six passengers. A number of the seat depends on the configuration of the front seats. Moreover, the rumors are suggesting a long bed made of a single panel. Four trim levels are the most likely outcome for this pickup and you can expect plenty of customization.

However, we believe that the base trim level will do the work just fine with the level of comfort. Chevrolet likes to offer a long list of features so Avalanche will be no different. The same could be said for the interior room and its practicality. Lastly, Avalanche will certainly offer the latest driver-assistance aids and premium stuff such as 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

Engine Rumors and Suspension Setup

It seems like the Chevrolet is ready to change its politics about the pickup trucks. Reviving some iconic models is a good way to gain instant success. On the other hand, it could result in a total disaster. The 2023 Chevy Avalanche will surely attract the customers, but it has to deliver amazing performances. Developing a new engine is not an option at this moment. Avalanche will most likely borrow a 5.3-liter V8 as standard and 6.2-liter V8 as an optional engine option.

The first one generates 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of twisting power. A second and larger option is good for 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Even the diesel and hybrid powertrains are a possibility, but less likely. What is likely is for the Avalanche to introduce an Independent Rear Suspension. We scrolled down the internet what the fans have to say. Everyone agrees that this suspension setup will be the best outcome. The first reason is the ride quality and the second reason is to give bed more options.

2023 Chevy Avalanche Price and Release Date

The forthcoming 2023 Chevy Avalanche could really make a comeback next year. The price is hard to determine but everything below $35,000 would be affordable. After all, rumors are suggesting a premium pickup with plenty of luxury. We honestly don’t believe that this will happen anytime soon. If someone has the ability to revive the old nameplate, it’s the Chevrolet.
