For a start, Ford will introduce a couple of mechanical changes. Thanks to that, the customers will have a wider choice of engines, including the hybrid variant.
Both exterior and interior will gain more modern upgrades as well. Everest SUV is available in six trim levels, and both two- and four-wheel-drive systems are in the offer as well. The price will slightly increase, but not significantly. As for the release date, Ford should launch its new model in the second half of 2021.
2023 Everest Changes
The upcoming 2023 Ford Everest will introduce a couple of interesting changes. For a start, it is the third-gen model, introduced in 2019. That means the Everest SUV is a relatively fresh model, and Ford clearly thinks that there is no need for major changes right now. According to the latest leak, Everest will gain slightly larger exterior features and new optional 19-inch alloy wheels. The front fascia will wear more chrome accents, and the front bumper seems to be more aggressive.
The interior will provide updates in terms of technology. That includes a new infotainment system and the latest driver-assistance aids. That means the SYNC4 infotainment is available, and Ford will also introduce a larger and optional screen. On the other hand, the cabin layout remains, along with the complete interior design.
New Diesel Engine
The all-new 2023 Ford Everest will introduce a new six-cylinder diesel engine, as well as a plug-in hybrid gasoline output. On the other hand, a 3.2-liter five-cylinder turbodiesel will be discounted. That means the 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel is now standard engine with 210 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is also new. As for the new six-cylinder diesel, various reports are saying the output will produce 250 horsepower and 452 lb-ft of torque. T
The same engine can be found under the hood of the Ford F-150 pickup truck. As for the hybrid powertrain, it is the biggest upgrade for 2023. It is a plug-in hybrid powertrain that should deliver 361 hp and 500 lb-ft of twisting power. We are still waiting for Ford to release details about fuel economy ratings.
