2023 GMC Yukon Denali: Interior, Specs, Redesign
GMC has big plans for its Yukon SUV. Whatsoever, the upcoming model will be the new-generation vehicle. For that reason, GMC will deliver major improvements on all trim levels. The 2023 GMC Yukon Denali will also undergo serious changes. That includes both exterior and interior upgrades. On top of that, we could expect additional mechanical updates, possibly a new powertrain option.
Yukon Denali is a sportier variant that also offers a room for eight, just like the base trim level. However, Denali is more premium and luxurious trim level. It comes with a sporty stance and more aggressive design. The interior is very well-equipped and we can expect even more updates for 2023. As for the performances, a 6.2-liter engine will surely remain. As we mentioned, a new powertrain option is a possibility.
2023 GMC Yukon Denali Changes and Updates
The 2023 GMC Yukon Denali will surely attract interests once again. This time, Denali will get drastic changes, just like the rest of the trim levels. Still, this SUV is not for everyone. Thanks to its huge proportions, Yukon is not a vehicle for inexperienced drivers. Yukon XL is an even longer version that will also get a Denali trim.
However, Yukon Denali will get a series of updates. Thanks to that, this SUV will arrive with an even sportier look and more modern features. The arriving SUV also looks stylish and striking at the same time. The front grille will be all-new and it will look bolder. Yukon Denali will also get more chrome accents than before and new taillights are in the offer as well. 20-inch chrome wills are still in the offer, along with the Ultimate and Black Edition packages. From now on, hands-free liftgate is offered as standard.
Cabin Offers More Luxury
In terms of interior design, the base model and the range-topping Denali trim level are very similar. Of course, the 2023 GMC Yukon Denali will offer more luxury. However, the interior layout is exactly the same and there is room for eight passengers. Everything inside the cabin will be premium and stylish. Leather upholstery is standard.
Thanks to that, leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel are in the offer. Denali trim offers a long list of amenities and that includes a stop/start system. On top of that, keyless entry and new safety systems are available. Interior provides great comfort and a quiet ride. Yukon is perfect for bigger families and longer trips are not a problem. Even the base model is well-equipped and comfortable, but it doesn’t get better than Denali trim. When it comes to changes, GMC will offer slightly different center stack this time.
2023 GMC Yukon Denali Engine
The base Yukon model is available with the standard 5.3-liter V8. This engine is producing 355 horses and 385 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a standard two-wheel-drive configuration and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The 2023 GMC Yukon Denali will use a larger 6.2-liter V8. This powerful unit will deliver 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is available as standard on Denali trim.

On top of that, Denali adds an automatic locking rear differential and magnetic ride control. The performances are great and you won’t find much better ride quality in the full-size segment. New powertrain option is just a speculation for now. However, it makes sense, after all, 2023 Yukon is the new-gen model.
Price and Release Date
The price of the 2023 GMC Yukon Denali will start at $67,000. On the other hand, the base model will cost around $50,000. Yukon Denali is a full-size luxury SUV so the price is high for a good reason.
GMC will release its newest SUV in the last quarter of 2019. On top of that, the longer Yukon XL model will also arrive. Cadillac Escalade, Ford Expedition, and Dodge Durango are the main rivals of this SUV.
