2023 GMC Yukon AT4: Redesign, Upgrade, Colors, & Engine. The wait is finally over, and the Yukon SUV is almost here. 2023 Yukon AT4 Grows in Size

The all-new 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 will add ruggedness to this SUV lineup. Both Yukon and Yukon XL will grow in size. Regular Yukon will get a longer wheelbase by 4.9 inches, and it will be 6.1 inches longer. Thanks to that, the rear occupants will enjoy in 10.1 inches of extra legroom. Even the cargo area will be more spacious, by 28.2 cubic feet.
Those figures are even better in the XL variant. As for the AT4, it will be dimensionally the same as the regular Yukon model. It will add a more rugged appearance with numerous unique features. The styling is bolder, and the AT4 version is a true refreshment.
Exterior and Interior Features
For the first time, General Motors will add AT4 treatment to its Yukon SUV. Moreover, Denali models will now have an exclusive interior that will differentiate from lower trim levels. Still, the 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 won’t be as luxurious as Denali. It won’t feature a new instrument panel, premium upholstery, or unique interior color schemes. On the other hand, it will offer more standard features than the base trim level. For a start, this version will offer Traction Select System with off-road mode.
Moreover, Hill Descent Control and two-speed transfer case are in the offer. A 20-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires are the latest addition, along with the new skid plates. Leather seats are standard and GMC offers a unique Jet Black interior scheme. The heated steering wheel and ventilated seats are improving the overall sense of luxury inside the cabin. Lastly, the 2023 Yukon AT4 will get more driver-assistance features.
Engine Specs
The forthcoming 2023 Yukon AT4 will feature the most powerful engine in the full-size SUV segment. A 6.2-liter V8 that delivers 420 hp. Moreover, this engine comes with Dynamic Fuel Management and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

On the other hand, a 5.3-liter V8 is the base powertrain. It can produce 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, a 3.0-liter turbo-six diesel engine is optional, with 277 horses and 460 lb-ft of twisting power. V8 units are offering a stop/start system and cylinder deactivation feature.
2023 Yukon AT4 Price and Release Date
New Yukon SUV and all of its trim levels will hit the dealerships this Summer. The 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 will cost around $60,000. On the other hand, the base trim level starts at $53,000. Yukon XL will also reach the markets, but AT4 should become an instant hit.
