There’s been a sighting of the all-new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The forthcoming fifth generation should include numerous improvements, including the new L model. Moreover, the Grand Cherokee L is a luxurious three-row version of Jeep’s famous SUV.
The newer model is longer and has a luxury cabin with seating for seven. The two-row Grand Cherokee will once again offer a room for five passengers. The 2023 Grand Cherokee will be available next summer. Here’s the lowdown on the new model’s improvements.
2023 Grand Cherokee Engines
The next 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee will likely have the same powertrains as the current model. But there’s one intriguing rumor: a 4xe plug-in hybrid will join the roster. The Grand Cherokee also keeps the 3.6-liter V6 engine with 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. A 5.7-liter V8 engine with 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque is optional.
Also, 4WD is standard. The Grand Cherokee L should have the same engine lineup. The Grand Cherokee SRT has a 475-horsepower 6.4-liter V8 engine. On top of that, with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine and 707 horsepower, the Trackhawk is the most powerful variant available.
Interior Improvements
A contemporary interior is planned in the redesigned 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. There are two models available. Grand Cherokee has a two-row layout, while the Grand Cherokee L model has three rows and a room for seven. Furthermore, Jeep will provide the same infotainment system as before.
The base model will have an 8.4-inch touchscreen, while the upper trim levels will have a 10.1-inch screen. Both models will also come with FCA’s Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which has been updated. The Grand Cherokee L may include a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen, according to reports. Jeep is yet to reveal more interior details in the coming months.
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Is Stunning
Like previous models, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be available in many trim levels. Its design will so vary depending on the trim level selected. The Trackhawk is the priciest option and features a more aggressive design. AWD, 18-inch wheels, red tow hooks, and a more athletic posture distinguish this model from the rest.
Quad exhaust tailpipes and “Supercharged” branding on the front doors set the Trackhawk apart from the regular model. A Desert-Rated Grand Cherokee could be on offer as well, although this is just another wild rumor at the moment.
2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Price, Release Date
The forthcoming 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee will probably be available next summer. Jeep will also introduce a Grand Cherokee L with three rows of seats, alongside the two-row variant.
New trim levels will cost somewhat more than the existing base trim level of $34,500. If you want more luxury, you’ll have to pay $70,000 for a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, and over $90k for a Trackhawk.
