The forthcoming 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will introduce additional changes and upgrades. For a start, first spy photos are available. However, the spied prototype is the regular Grand Cherokee SUV. Anyway, the same upgrades will be applied to the Trackhawk variant. Of course, the Trackhawk model is more aggressive and sportier.
However, Jeep clearly feels the time for drastic updates has come. The regular version will offer a hybrid powertrain. On the other hand, Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will continue to offer a supercharged V8 engine option. Thanks to that, performances are astonishing. As before, Trackhawk will continue to rival other high-performance SUVs like BMW X5 M and Jaguar F-Pace SVR.
2023 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Facelift
New 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will gain the same visual updates as the regular model. For a start, recognizable design language will remain. However, Trackhawk wears a more aggressive styling and it also comes with a more athletic stance. The 2023MY will arrive with a larger grille and slimmer headlamps. This is a popular move nowadays and Jeep is simply following this trend.
The front fascia is chunkier than before and the side profile now hosts even more pronounced lines. New optional wheels are available, along with the new exterior paints. The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk continues to ride on a famous Alfa Romeo Giorgio platform. Mechanically, nothing will change but we are waiting for Jeep to reveal all of the cosmetic upgrades.
Interior Upgrades
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will get a couple of interior updates. Unfortunately, the spy shots didn’t provide interior details of any kind. Still, reliable reports are saying the 2023MY will get more upright materials and some new technologies. First of all, a larger infotainment screen will be on offer.
On the other hand, the cabin layout will remain, but Jeep could get rid of some physical buttons. It is a more minimalistic approach, but don’t expect a completely minimalistic cabin. The Trackhawk variant provides sportier seats with red accents and additional carbon-fiber trims. Leather upholstery is standard and Trackhawk offers more luxury than some other trim levels.
From 0 to 60 MPH in 2.4 Seconds
The all-new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will continue to offer its familiar engine. It is a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 707 horsepower. On top of that, this incredible output develops up to 645 lb-ft of torque. This is one of the most powerful engines at the moment and the performances are truly amazing.
New reports are also suggesting slightly more power for the Trackhawk variant and its V8 powertrain. An 8-speed automatic transmission remains and it comes with paddle shifters. The current model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in only 2.4 seconds and the top speed is rated at around 200 mph.
2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Price, Release Date
The approaching 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will cost $90,000 or maybe slightly more. It does make sense to increase the SUV’s price after the latest modifications. The sales will begin later in 2021, most likely in the last quarter of the year. As we already wrote, the biggest rivals are BMW X5 M, Jaguar F-Pace SVR, and Mercedes AMG GLE 63 S.
