Jeep has big plans for its SUV lineup. The upcoming 2023 Jeep Wagoneer is coming to the markets, finally. It was a popular SUV back in the days, and now Wagoneer is making a comeback. Whatsoever, Jeep will deliver the Grand Wagoneer version as well. Furthermore, new Wagoneer has been spotted in a heavy disguise.
The sales should start later next year, and some reports are already having a clear picture of the new model. The 2023 Wagoneer will wear a very upright design, and it will ride on a body-on-frame platform. It will feature rear independent suspension, so the ride quality should be amazing. As for the performances, Jeep will offer a couple of familiar engines, but the highlight will be a hybrid option.

As you might expect, the new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer will depart from its predecessor in every possible way. That includes exterior design as well. The new model has been spied recently. Despite the heavy camouflage, some parts are easy to spot and recognize. For a start, this SUV looks bold and robust.
The front fascia comes with a multi-slat grille and angular headlights. Square-shaped wheel arches are visible too. While Wagoneer is a large SUV, Grand Wagoneer will be even larger. We’d like to see a new version on the road, just to see its size. Whatsoever, both models will be large.
Interior Details
Spy shots are also delivering a couple of interior details. It seems that Jeep will offer a standard 12-inch infotainment screen in the center of the dashboard. The same display is available in the new Ram 1500 pickup truck. Wagoneer will arrive with three rows of seats.
Thanks to that, this SUV will offer room for seven or eight passengers. Jeep offers a body-on-frame structure, and independent rear suspension is also available. Thanks to that, comfort and ride quality will be superb.
Wagoneer Will Offer Plug-In Hybrid Option
As we said, the forthcoming 2023 Jeep Wagoneer will offer familiar engines. That includes a 3.6-liter V6 and larger 5.7-liter V8 powertrain options. However, the highlight of the new SUV is its plug-in hybrid option. We still don’t know which of the two engines will be paired with a hybrid setup. Moreover, a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 should be available in the Wagoneer’s high-performance variant. Whatsoever, its body-on-frame platform is a perfect fit for this potent unit.
Ram 1500 Rebel TRX will arrive with the same engine next year. Jeep will surely introduce an eight-speed automatic transmission across all trim levels. Unfortunately, we can’t say that we know anything about Wagoneer PHEV and its performance figures. Jeep will release more details closer to the release date.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer Price and Release Date
Price is another mystery. It is impossible to determine the price of the new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer at the moment. However, Jeep never created a premium SUV that could compete with Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator. New Wagoneer could become the most premium SUV in the brand’s lineup. The sales should start later in 2021, and Jeep will also introduce a brand-new Grand Wagoneer model.
