The forthcoming 2023 Maserati Levante will introduce mid-cycle refreshments. This SUV will remain luxurious as before and it is one of the fastest SUVs on the market. The new model has been spied for the second time in the last couple of months. First spy shots provided the latest exterior changes. However, a new batch was full of interior details and Maserati will deliver various upgrades.
In terms of performances, Levante won’t change. Moreover, its popular Levante Trofeo version will gain similar upgrades but nothing will change under the hood. Lastly, this SUV will go on sale in the second half of 2023.
2023 Levante Exterior Design
We said that there will be exterior upgrades but don’t expect anything significant to change. The forthcoming 2023 Maserati Levante will gain a couple of minor updates and the spy shots are showing exactly that. The front fascia will largely remain which may disappoint some fans. On the other hand, some of the customers are surely pleased with the current look.
However, the rear part comes with updated taillights. The prototype has been spied with extra camouflage in that part. That means something new is hiding beneath heavy camo. The rear bumper seems to be restyled and Maserati will most likely deliver sharper body lines for an even sportier appearance. Quad exhausts are visible which strongly suggests that nothing will change under the bonnet.
Interior Overhaul
While the exterior didn’t introduce major changes, the interior will surely get various updates. The second batch of spy photos is available and it seems like we are dealing with interior revamp. Redesigned dash is easy to spot, despite the camouflage. The new infotainment display is also visible and it will feature the next-gen Uconnect system. New upholstery is another probability and even a fully digital instrument cluster could be on the cards.

Some parts are not visible so take this as pure speculation. Besides new upholstery, Levante will surely introduce more high-quality materials. Thanks to that, the cabin will look even luxurious. Lastly, the manufacturer plans to offer more driver-assistance aids and most of them will be offered as standard. Famous Levante Trofeo variant will gain almost the same updates as the regular Levante.
Engine Specs and Transmission
First of all, Levante Trofeo is a more powerful variant that has also been spied. This model will offer a new 4.0-liter V8 with 590 horsepower. However, the 2023 Maserati Levante won’t offer a new V8 unit. Instead, Levante will carry over with the same engine lineup. That includes a 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine. This output has been rated at 345 hp.
However, the S trim level with the same engine will produce up to 424 horses. We just don’t know which engine will power the Levante GTS version. The first option is the current 3.8-liter that cranks out 550 hp. The second likely outcome is the mentioned V8. All of the trim levels will use the same eight-speed automatic transmission. Lastly, the all-wheel-drive system is offered as standard.

Levante S starts at $88,000 and GTS variant at around $118,000. Still, the most expensive variant is Levante Trofeo that is available for $170,000.
