First information is more than enough to realize that the LQ has the potential to become the company’s best-selling model. It is an SUV that will rival models from Audi, Range Rover, BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes. The price won’t be affordable but it will be a luxurious model with so much to offer. Exterior and Interior Details
The approaching 2023 Lexus LQ will borrow a lot of styling cues and elements from LS sedan and LC coupe variants. Moreover, some cues will be taken from the Lexus’ LF-1 Limitless concept. The concept is a couple of years old so don’t expect exactly the same features. However, the idea is the same. Let’s say that the LS sedan will have the biggest impact on the new LQ SUV. To be honest, we don’t know how the all-new model will look like. Spy shots are not available and all we have is the concept photos. The LF-1 concept is a luxury model with 22-inch wheels and bolder design. The spindle grille is available, along with the LED headlights around the grille. The rear part hosts a split spoiler and a sharp rear bumper.
The Interior will look more futuristic than the exterior design. The 2023 LQ SUV will offer room for five passengers and a high level of comfort. The manufacturer will remove distracting analog knobs and buttons that you can find in current Lexus models. Instead, the Japanese manufacturer will offer motion-activated control. The LF-1 Limitless concept is a few years old but it had an idea of a longitudinal engine. However, the 2023 Lexus LQ will share its platform with the LS sedan. Moreover, LQ will borrow the engine from the LS model. It is a turbo V6 that can produce 416 horsepower. Optionally, LQ will offer a 355hp hybrid powertrain. Even the high-performance F model could be in the offer. If that really happens, LQ F will deploy a twin-turbo V8 and it will produce over 600 horses.
2023 Lexus LQ Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2023 Lexus LQ will hit the dealerships at some point in 2021. Most likely, this luxury SUV will go on sale in the second half of the year. The price should start at around $80,000.
