2023 Nissan Patrol Release Date, Interior, Specs. The forthcoming 2023 Nissan Patrol is a large SUV closely related to Nissan Armada that is available in the U.S. Armada is a popular SUV in America, but Patrol is a big seller in the Middle East. The 2023 model will be heavily refreshed, which is great. The changes will start on the outside with the facelift that should provide a more angular appearance.
The interior will also gain a couple of new things, including the latest high-tech amenities. The powertrain should remain, and it is a potent V6 engine that is present for years now. Patrol will arrive at a slightly higher price, and its sales will begin by the end of the year.
2023 Patrol Gets Mid-Cycle Facelift
The most obvious change on the new 2023 Nissan Patrol is its more angular appearance. The front part comes with a recognizable V-Motion styling, but the grille will be larger, and it will wear more chrome. The headlights are brand-new and are now featuring a split design. Most of the new Nissans are wearing the same headlamps, so this comes as no real surprise.
The lower section hosts more open sculpting, and it looks visually better. The rear part gets a new design of taillights. Nissan will also add illumination on turn signals. The rear bumper is restyled, and the side profile should not change at all in 2023.
Interior Updates
On the inside, the new 2023 Nissan Patrol will get more significant changes. That includes new standard and optional digital displays. Moreover, a new infotainment touchscreen sits in the revised center stack. The HVAC buttons are redesigned, and the control knob is now moved behind the gear selector. Thanks to that, the double-screen layout is possible.
The infotainment system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A larger display will sit between the instrument dials, and it will provide key vehicle information. Upper trim levels such as Luxurious are offering new leather upholstery. The same upholstery is inspired by the GT-R model.
Patrol Offers Powerful V8 Diesel
The all-new 2023 Nissan Patrol will use a 5.6-liter V8 gasoline engine one again. It is Nissan’s most powerful gasoline, and it can produce 390 horsepower. Furthermore, a potent V8 can generate 395 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to that, Patrol SUV will tow almost 8,500 pounds. However, this V8 is an aging powertrain, and it delivers only 16 mpg combined, which is far from the rest of the segment.

A seven-speed automatic transmission is available, and the 4WD system will be optional. The perfect alternative is an optional 5.0-liter V8 diesel powertrain. This unit also powers the Titan XD variant, and it cranks out 320 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. Patrol can tow 12,000 pounds when equipped with a diesel engine.
2023 Nissan Patrol Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2023 Nissan Patrol will cost below $50,000 again. However, the exact price is not available yet. We think the new SUV should become available for about $47,500. The diesel powertrain is optional, and it will cost you an additional $4,000. New Patrol will go on sale by the end of the year. On top of that, the Armada model is available in the United States, and it is basically the same model as Patrol.
