2023 Volkswagen Nivus Price, Interior, Colors. The upcoming 2023 Volkswagen Nivus is almost here. This coupe-like crossover is officially presented without camouflage. Nivus will go on sale in Brazil later in June 2023. Whatsoever, this model has been fully developed in this country. It will also arrive in Argentina later this year and in Europe at the beginning of 2023.
It is another German crossover in South America, after T-Cross. Unlike T-Cross, Nivus will depart in every possible way. Moreover, Nivus will be cheaper than T-Cross and it will offer a 1.0-liter engine. A six-speed transmission will be in the offer, along with numerous interesting novelties.
2023 Nivus Dimensions
The 2023 Volkswagen Nivus won’t depart from the brand’s design language. It won’t offer anything new but we must say that it looks amazing. It is a coupe-like crossover that rides on the MQB-A0 architecture. Nivus comes with a 100.8-inch long wheelbase and it is 167.7 inches long. That means Nivus is longer than the T-Cross model by three inches.
This crossover will arrive with LED taillights, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and electrically adjustable mirrors. Moreover, rain-sensing wipers and similar equipment will be available via optional packages. That also includes alloy wheels, more chrome accents, and various driver-assistance aids. After all, see it for yourself, we think Nivus looks great.
Interior Features
Here’s another difference between the T-Cross model and the new 2023 VW Nivus. Nivus departs from T-Cross in the back as it provides more cargo space. Nivus has been rated at 14.66 cubic feet while T-Cross offers 13.2 cubics. On the other hand, Nivus comes with a lower roof so the headroom is not that ample. The interior looks comfortable and modern.
In terms of tech, 2023 Nivus offers the VW Play multimedia center. It comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and it offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The wireless function will be optional, along with adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors and leather seats. Volkswagen offers plenty of optional equipment and optional packages.
Single Powertrain Option
Under the bonnet, approaching 2023 Volkswagen Nivus comes with a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine. This unit provides 128 hp and is only available with a six-speed automatic transmission. There will be three trim levels, 200 TSI, Comfortline, and Highline.

However, all trim levels are using the same output. Volkswagen won’t even provide a slightly higher output or new and optional engine. However, the goal is to focus on ride quality and comfort and not performances.
2023 Volkswagen Nivus Price and Release Date
New 2023 Volkswagen Nivus will start below $20,000. This model is cheaper than the T-Cross that is available in Brazil. We already said there will be three trim levels. The Comfortline trim costs around $20,000 and Highline around $22,000. Volkswagen will also offer an optional R-Line package with gloss black finishes and more premium interior equipment.
As we said, the sales will start this June in Brazil. After that, Nivus will arrive in Argentina later in 2023. Finally, this coupe-like crossover will reach Europe at the beginning of 2023.
