The new model will arrive with more standard equipment. Features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will remain, along with the standard navigation. Land Rover also offers a head-up display. That includes auto emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. Lastly, pedestrian detection is also available as standard.

The forthcoming 2024 Land Rover Defender V8 will provide a lot of power. New V8 powertrain will produce slightly over 500 horsepower. That is in range with the SVR variant. Beside potent V8, Land Rover will deliver new air suspension and various mechanical updates. An eight-speed automatic transmission is in the offer, and new suspension will provide greater off-road capabilities. However, the manufacturer won’t offer a manual transmission.

The brand-new 2024 Land Rover Defender V8 will cost more than the base trim level. To compare, the base variant starts at $50,000 or slightly above that. The V8 engine is optional, and it will cost you an additional $5,000. The sales will begin in the first quarter of 2024. As we said, a spied prototype is not the final model, and Land Rover promised even more upgrades.
