The forthcoming 2023 Audi Q7 will introduce further changes. It is one of Audi’s largest SUVs at the moment and the new model could be even bigger. Yes, you read that correctly. Moreover, the Q7 model will gain more standard features and mechanical updates are also an option.
In 2023, Q7 SUV will deploy a hybrid powertrain, besides its current 248-hp turbo-four engine. Rumored all-electric variant won’t happen in the next two years, according to reliable sources. The sales will begin later next year and here’s everything we know about this new model.
2023 Q7 Exterior Changes
This SUV introduced a redesign for model 2023. Design is still relatively new so the upcoming 2023 Audi Q7 will introduce a mid-cycle facelift. That means we don’t expect to see significant cosmetic upgrades. However, the platform will remain but the new Q7 could slightly grow in size. The front part will host a couple of interesting updates, such as a larger grille and new turn-signal animation. To the sides, Q7 SUV will offer the same wheels and 22-inch rims are the largest you can get.
While this is a large SUV, its roof isn’t that tall. And while the interior headroom could’ve been better, access to the optional roof rack is easier than ever. If you want something wilder, the SQ7 model is the right choice. This model adds more sportiness and it also looks more aggressive. For 2023, SQ7 will introduce improved suspension and brakes.
Impressive Interior Design
The interior of the 2023 Audi Q7 will also gain mid-cycle refreshments. The cabin is full of premium materials and high-tech features. Moreover, the build quality is quite impressive. In our opinion, the interior is the best part of this SUV. Even the base trim level is premium enough to compete with more expensive models.
Audi will once again offer three rows of seats with a room for seven occupants. Cargo area is impressive and it provides a lot of space for your luggage. Tech-wise, the new Q7 will offer a 10.1-inch infotainment display and another 8.6-inch touchscreen below it. Audi’s famous virtual cockpit is present and the manufacturer offers stuff such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi.
Engine Lineup Remains
The approaching 2023 Audi Q7will offer the same lineup of conventional engines. For a start, a 2.0-liter turbo-four is offered as standard and it generates 248 horsepower. Iconic Quattro AWD system is available, along with the eight-speed automatic transmission. With this engine, Q7 SUV can tow up to 4,400 pounds.
If you want more power, a 3.0-liter turbo V6 is available and it delivers 330 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. The same transmission is in the offer and the AWD setup is standard. Buy this optional powertrain and you’ll be able to tow almost 8,000 pounds. Some speculations are suggesting an all-electric variant, but this is very unlikely to happen in the near future.
2023 Audi Q7 Price and Release Date
At this point, we can’t precisely say when the 2023 Audi Q7 will arrive. However, the second half of 2021 is the closest we can say at the moment. This SUV will start at $56,000 and its SQ7 variant will become available for about $85,000.
