The upcoming 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe is scheduled to arrive at some point next year. This SUV will hit the roads with numerous changes and upgrades. It is a shorter version of the Chevy Suburban, so the two models are having a lot of things in common. The 2023 Tahoe will introduce refreshed styling and various changes inside the cabin. 

Moreover, Tahoe will gain more technology than we have seen in the current one. Some rumors are saying that the V8 engine will remain under the hood and. Also, a powerful diesel unit will be in the offer as well. Chevy estimated that the next-gen model will cost up to $50,000, which is slightly above the current model price.

The upcoming full-size SUV looks refreshed on the outside. The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe has grown in size too. Whatsoever, the new model will be over half a foot longer than the old one. The visible exterior changes include slimmer LED headlamps, a more appealing front grille, and fog lights that are wider than on the current model. The side profile remains unchanged with its sleek 18-inch rims.  In addition, Tahoe will get its first independent rear suspension. A similar setup can be found under the skin of the Ford Expedition and Nissan Armada models.

Interior Improvements

The upcoming 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe offers a rather roomy interior. Moreover, the new model will be more spacious than its predecessor and the other models in the segment. The third row will get more than ten inches of legroom, while the cargo area with folded rear seats provides 123 cubic feet. As for the standard equipment, Tahoe comes standard with a larger head-up display, digital instrument cluster, and heated/ventilated seats. 

In terms of high-tech features, Tahoe comes with a 10-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bose sound system, and Wi-Fi hotspot. The rear-seat entertainment system comes with a pair of 12.6-inch displays mounted behind the front seats. This feature will be optional in the base Tahoe.

Diesel Engine is Available Once Again

The all-new 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe will most likely offer the same engines as the outgoing model. A powerful 5.3-liter V8 engine is offered as standard, it generates 355 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. Trim levels such as   High Country are available with a larger 6.2-liter V8 engine. The gasoline unit can produce 420 hp and 460 lb-ft twisting power.

Both V8 powerplants are compatible with a direct fuel management system and automatic stop-start feature. Furthermore, a variable valve timing and Dynamic Fuel Control cylinder deactivation system are in the offer as well. The most popular engine choice is a 3.0-liter diesel engine. The diesel variant will be available for all models except the Z71. It provides 277 horses and 460 lb-ft of torque. As before, Tahoe SUV will tow up to 8400 pounds.

2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Price, Release Date

Once it arrives, the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe will gain a small price increase. Thanks to that, this SUV will now start at $50,000. The popular LT trim level is available for $54,000 and RST for $57,000. The range-topping High Country model will cost over $70,000. Chevy will launch its new 2023 Tahoe by the end of 2021.
