2023 Ford Bronco Sport: Redesign, Specs, Colors. Besides regular Bronco SUV and rumored versions of “Baby Bronco” or Bronco pickup truck, another model is basically official. It is a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport that has been spied a couple of days ago. The outbreak of the COVID-19 set everything on pause, including the showrooms. Because of that, we won’t be seeing Bronco SUV in the first half of 2023 as everyone expected. However, the Blue Oval manufacturer is working on the new model.
Bronco Sport comes with lower ride height, different front end, and numerous upgrades. Design-wise, it will look very upscale but the interior details are still not available. We also don’t know which engine will power this version, but there are two possible engine options. Interestingly, Bronco Sport will offer interesting trim levels that are named after American’s national parks.
2023 Bronco Sport Spy Shots
The good thing is that the new spy shots are showing a lot. New 2023 Ford Bronco Sport has been firstly spotted at the parking lot and blurry images leaked online. However, a new batch of photos provides the best looks so far. Bronco Sport crossover comes with the traditional Bronco-like front fascia. The headlights are almost the same and are using circular lamps with a single horizontal strip cutting into the center. However, the Bronco emblem is significantly larger and it sits in the center of the grille. Black mesh with thin strips looks amazing in our opinion.
Down below, lower fascia hosts driving lamps in the cornet and its layout is very simple. To the sides, Bronco Sport looks angular, more than the regular Bronco. Chiseled lines are looking great and C-pillar looks angled. Thanks to that, the crossover looks tougher and the whole vehicle seems to be more rugged. Interestingly, Bronco Sport rides on the same platform as the Escape model. However, Bronco Sport is something completely different and unique. The rear part sports exhaust exiting at each corner.
Interior Specs
The interior of the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is still the biggest mystery. We hope for a more stylish cabin with more high-quality materials and sportier seats. Moreover, a longer list of standard amenities is a must for this crossover. As for the optional equipment, Blue Oval will offer ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control and heated steering wheel. Additionally, remote start, wireless charging, and passive entry system should be optional on all trim levels. Besides that, we don’t know much about the arriving model and its interior design.
Two Engine Possibilities
The choice has come down to two powertrain options. New 2023 Ford Bronco Sport will ride on either 1.5-liter EcoBoost or 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. Both units are using an eight-speed automatic transmission. Bronco Sport is a front-wheel-drive crossover with an optional all-wheel-drive system.

A hybrid powertrain is another possibility but it is still just pure speculation. Bronco will try to match Jeep Wrangler in every possible expect and hybrid is a must for this sporty crossover. To this date, neither Ford nor EPA has released fuel economy ratings.
2023 Ford Bronco Sport Release Date and Cost
The price is another mystery. However, the forthcoming 2023 Ford Bronco Sport will cost slightly more than the Escape model. That means the price will start at around $27,000. Interestingly, Ford won’t introduce its regular trim levels.
Instead, Bronco Sport will arrive with trim levels such as Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands. All of these names are the names of the American national parks. The Coronavirus situation is not calming down so we hope to see a new model later in 2023.
