The hybrid powertrain is not official yet and we are waiting for more official details. No doubt, Ford will offer another amazing lineup of heavy-duty trucks.

In terms of design, the approaching 2023 Ford F-250 will introduce various upgrades. For a start, spy shots are available. These photos are showing a prototype with the latest visual changes. Still, some parts are perfectly camouflaged. Luckily for us, most of the vehicle is easy to recognize. Blue Oval worked on a new badge that is now finished in a different shape.
RAM offers a similar thing from the last year. The front part comes with a larger grille for improved airflow and engine cooling. This truck comes with additional aluminum materials so the vehicle’s weight is also reduced. On the other hand, its hard-strength steel frame largely remains, including the architecture. The rear part sports revised taillights.
Interior Changes
Ford is introducing new interior upgrades as a direct answer to Chevrolet’s latest updates. As you probably know, Chevy is updating its pickup truck lineup, especially the interior. For that reason, a new 2023 Ford F-250 will introduce various cabin refinements. On top of that, a complete Super Duty lineup will feature the very same updates.
For a start, the base trim level will feature more standard equipment. Ford will also introduce a new and larger touchscreen. Moreover, the infotainment system is up to date and we should expect more driver-assistance features. Small changes will also happen on the dashboard. However, we are not quite sure if the Blue Oval will offer new upholstery.
Engine Specs and F-250 Hybrid
New 2023 Ford F-250 won’t get new gasoline or diesel engine. However, a hybrid powertrain is a very likely outcome. While not official, this truck will most likely feature this sort of output. Ford will cooperate with the “XL Hybrid” company to create a new hybrid system. F-250 will surely get either plug-in or mild-hybrid variant. As for the conventional engines, a 6.2-liter V8 remains standard. This engine is good for 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.

A relatively new 7.3-liter V8 gasoline is optional. This engine can produce 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. Ford promised the best-in-class performance for gasoline power only. Lastly, there is a 6.7-liter V8 diesel with 475 hp and 1050 lb-ft of torque. Ford will also offer its new 10-speed automatic transmission.
2023 Ford F-250 Price and Release Date
The price of the forthcoming 2023 Ford F-250 will now start at $36,000. If you want a new Tremor package, it will cost you an additional $2,000. If it arrives, F-250 Hybrid will surely cost over $42,000. Ford will release its new Super Duty lineup in the first quarter of 2023.
