New 2023 Ford F-350 will be on sale one year from now. It’s the next-gen Super Duty, so we’re supposed to expect big changes. The coming F-350 truck will have a lot of new stuff, including a revamped design. This Super Duty generation has been here for eight years, so it’s time to make big upgrades.
In the next few months, Ford will make it official, according to the latest news. Drastic changes are going to happen, including both interior updates and exterior improvements. However, we can’t predict what is going to happen with the engine lineup. Some rumors are saying that the current engine options will remain. The F-350 truck will once again compete with the Ram 3500 and Chevy Silverado 3500HD.
Ford F-350 Gets a Redesign
The upcoming 2023 Ford F-350 will feature a new design. This truck will remain attractive and sleek, but the latest model will look more upright. The platform remains so the vehicle’s dimensions are the same. The front fascia is going to get the most dramatic changes. The F-350 truck will get a new grille that provides a sharper look and more chrome accents will make it more fashionable.
The headlamps are slimmer than they were before, and the bumper looks more aggressive. New exterior paints are expected to become available. New-gen models are commonly available with new colors and the F-350 truck is no different. The rear section is going to get a new tailgate step. In addition, the remote-operated power lock tailgate is also available. Ford offers its Tremor package and it is a bargain that provides more off-road equipment.
Interior Will Introduce More Tech
The approaching 2023 Ford F-350 will be fitted with more technology, including the latest safety aids. As for the cabin design, things are not going to change significantly. That means the seating layout and the arrangement of buttons won’t change. The F-350 will remain a roomy and practical heavy-duty model with a comfortable interior. But if you want more luxury, you’ll have to choose one of the range-topping trim levels.
Ford F-350 will include new interior color schemes and incorporate a range of high-tech features. The infotainment system is updated to SYNC4 version, Super Duty models will have Wi-Fi that can receive up to 10 devices. New floor mats are in offer, along with type-C ports and larger storage bins.
Specs, Towing Capacity
The upcoming 2023 Ford F-350 is likely to have the same engine lineup as the outgoing model. That means there will be no changes under the bonnet. The F-350 heavy-duty truck will arrive with a 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine. It is the most powerful naturally-aspirated powertrain on the market with 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is available and it is a relatively new gearbox made by Ford.
However, a reliable 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel will remain optional. It is the most common option among buyers. This powerful engine generates 450 horsepower and 1050 lb-ft of torque, which is incredible. Ford could improve torque figures in the future but this is not official yet. However, Blue Oval manufacturer said that this model will tow above the current 35,750 pounds.
