The 2023 Sierra 1500 is a half-ton truck that is available with a few engine options. The base model comes with a turbocharged 2.7-liter 4-cylinder producing 310 horsepower.
Besides, the manufacturer is also offering a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6, a 5.3-liter V8, and a 6.2-liter V8. The inline-4 comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the other engines get a 10-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is as before standard on most models, while 4-wheel drive (4WD) is available on Denali, Denali Ultimate, and off-road trims. As for towing, with a turbodiesel you can tow up to 13,200 pounds.
Price, Release Date
As mentioned, the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 is the truck that is available with few engines, cabin sizes, and cargo bed lengths. So, the pricing of this model will vary widely. Starting at the top, the Denali Ultimate is around $78,700, while AT4X is $73,300.
AT4 is available as well, and it starts at $59,300, Elevation is $43,800, SLE $42,200, and Sierra Pro cost $30,800. According to the latest report, we can expect all models to arrive in the fall of 2023 as the 2023 models.
