The 2023 GMC Sierra HD has been caught testing, wearing mild camo on the front and rear end. According to many reports, the new truck is about to receive a refresh styling with a variety of changes and updates. Moreover, thanks to first spy shots, we have some early look at the heavy-duty pickup’s revised exterior. What’s more, the GMC Sierra HD will have a refreshed body and a revised cabin as well. The spy shots of the refreshed 2023 GMC Sierra HD reveals some changes. First of all, we noticed a completely new LED headlight unit and lighting signature, which are visible through small holes in the camouflage mesh covering. Interestingly, rather than the vertically stacked three-light cluster, the manufacturer revised headlights higher in the front fascia.
We have also noticed some small modifications on the front, including more massive grille. On the back, this truck features the same taillights and tailgate.

The interior of the 2023 GMC Sierra HD is more upscale than before. In general, this truck looks far more stylish than the average truck. Stepping in, you’ll first notice more premium materials, especially in the higher trims. Like before, this truck has to offer plenty of roomy in the front seats, no matter which cab you choose.
However, if you’re looking to place some passengers comfortably, the best choice is getting a Crew Cab model. Some standard features on the Sierra HD are air conditioning, a rubberized vinyl floor, a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a backup camera, and Bluetooth connectivity.
2023 GMC Sierra HD Powertrain Specs
Under the hood, the GMC Sierra HD is available with two engine options. The first one is gas-powered V8 6.6-liter unit that makes 401 horsepower and 464 lb.-ft of torque. Hopefully, this engine is upgradable, and you can get more efficiency from the 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8, producing 445 hp and a whopping 910 lb.-ft of torque.
According to GMC, the gas-powered model can tow up to 18,500 pounds and have a maximum payload capacity of 3,863 pounds, while the Duramax V8 can tow up to 36,000 pounds and haul up to 6,610 pounds. The gasoline engine uses a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the Duramax is linked to an Allison 10-speed automatic.
How Much Will Cost the 2023 GMC Sierra HD?
Pricing for the GMC Sierra HD starts at $36,000 for the base model with 2-wheel-drive (2WD) and Regular Cab Long Box Pro trim. In general, there’s a wide variety of optional amenities, and upgrading to the Duramax turbo-diesel V8 costs $10,000. Moreover, pricing for Double Cab models starts at less than $39,000, while the Crew Cab is $40,600.
The most rugged AT4 model cost $59,100, while the luxurious Denali starts at $65,500. The forthcoming GMC Sierra HD will go on sale later next year, featuring numerous changes.
