The upcoming 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty Truck has been spied on the public road wearing heavy camo. As we can see, the forthcoming model will receive the new front end and possible trim changes. Also, it appears the manufacturer modified the headlights that are differing from the present arrangement. Besides the exterior, the Ford F-350 Super Duty Truck will also gain the same treatment as the lighter F-150 model. We expect a more comfortable cabin and plenty of added techs.
Beneath the hood, the new model will continue to be offered with the same three engine options. Big trucks need big engines, and the 2023 Super Duty doesn’t disappoint. The standard unit is a 6.2-liter V8, while a more potent gasoline alternative is a 7.3-liter V8. Ford also offers an optional Power Stroke turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel V8.
2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty Redesign
The new 2023 Ford-F-350 Super Duty Truck looks big and is built for hard work, just like the F-250. The base XL looks no less attractive than the upper trims. This model features an attractive and massive front end that hosts a big grille. It also has 17-inch steel wheels as standard, while more bigger wheels are available choosing the XLT, 18-inch alloy wheels.
Moreover, they will become bigger in the more expensive trims. Lariat trim, which brings new Sport Appearance package, includes side mirror housings and bumpers in the same color as the body. Blue Oval is also offering the Black Appearance package, which includes many black accents.
Cabin Improvements
The new 2023 Super Duty is available in Cab choices Regular, Super, and Crew. No matter which Cab you choose, all three are roomy and comfortable. Generally speaking, there are plenty of storage spaces throughout the range. The center console is massive on both F-250 and F-350 models, and in the entry-level XL trim, there is single-zone air conditioning, vinyl flooring and upholstery, manually extendable side mirrors, remote start/lock/unlock, trailer sway control, cargo bed lighting, and a removable tailgate.
Safety is improved as well and includes automatic on/off headlights, hill start assists, and an SOS post-crash alert system.
2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty Engine
Under the hood, this truck is available with three engine options. Big trucks need big engines, so, the 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty as standard uses a gutsy 6.2-liter V8 making 385 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft of torque. This unit is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
More gargantuan option is a gasoline 7.3-liter V8 engine generating 430 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft of torque. Lastly, Ford offers an optional Power Stroke turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel V8 unit, developing 450 horsepower and a 1,050 lb.-ft of torque. Both of these engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
