New 2023 Holden Colorado has been spied a couple of days ago. The arriving pickup truck will get a minor facelift, similar to the Chevy and GMC trucks. General Motors provided a mid-cycle facelift for its Colorado pickup in the United States. Holden Colorado will get very similar upgrades. This pickup truck is sold in Australia, and it is one of the most popular buying options in the segment.
Many rumors predicted a total redesign for the 2023 Colorado. That will not happen, and the latest spy shots are proving that. Powertrain options should remain intact, and even the price won’t change at all. The interior will receive a couple of updates, just enough to keep the pickup truck as competitive as before.
2023 Colorado Spy Shots
The previous batch of spy photos were showing a heavy-camouflaged Colorado pickup. However, the latest batch shows the images with not that much camo. The 2023 Holden Colorado is wrapped will get various styling changes, and most of the novelties are visible. That includes the new lower and upper grille and the updated fog lamps.
Headlights are unchanged, which is the same treatment that U.S.-spec Colorado got. While the Chevrolet’s and GMC’s full-size models are getting larger features, Colorado in Australia will stick to the current plan with not so exterior features. Rumors about wider and longer Colorado were obviously false, and the arriving pickup will remain dimensionally the same.
Interior Refreshments
On the inside, the 2023 Holden Colorado will mostly remain. The cabin design won’t change, and that includes the interior layout. Dimensions are the same, so Colorado will offer the same ample interior space as before. However, the manufacturer will update various systems, and it will probably provide a longer list of standard equipment.
Without a real competitor in Australia, Colorado is the best choice in terms of comfort and high-tech features. On top of that, Colorado will get the latest driver-assistance aids that will be optional in the base trim level.
List of Available Engines
The upcoming 2023 Holden Colorado will offer the same three powertrain options as the outgoing model. For a start, a 2.8-liter Duramax diesel provides 200 hp and up to 440 lb-ft of torque. According to Holden, this is the most popular choice among buyers.
