2023 Hyundai Tucson Redesign, Price New

Posted on

For the next year, Hyundai has prepared a couple of changes and upgrades for its Tucson model. The upcoming 2023 Hyundai Tucson will get four new exterior paints. On top of that, small styling changes are visible as well.

From the inside, Tucson will get the new leather-wrapped steering wheel and new shift knob. There will be some changes among the trim levels and rearrangement of standard and optional amenities. The 2023 Tucson will also gain better safety with a couple of new safety aids. Under the hood, we don’t expect any type of upgrades.

2023 Hyundai Tucson Introduces New Headlight Units

The exterior of the all-new 2023 Hyundai Tucson will suffer some changes. Some parts that are borrowed from the Santa Fe SUV are still present. However, Tucson looks very unique and attractive. Thanks to the new spy shots, we know some of the upgrades that will happen on the Tucson model. We are not sure if the front grille is all-new or is it reshaped.

The same stands for the new headlight units. The rear end will most likely remain. The side profile looks subtle and Tucson still offers standard 18-inch wheels. 19-inch rims are optional once again. Shape and vehicle’s dimensions are intact for 2023.

Colors

After the spy photos, Hyundai confirmed new exterior colors. The upcoming 2023 Hyundai Tucson will get four new paints: Stellar Silver, Magnetic Force, Winter White, and Cream White.2023 Hyundai Tucson interior

Interior Design and Safety

Interior of the all-new 2023 Hyundai Tucson will get a couple of new features. For the start, the most significant innovations are a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. On top of that, from the Sport trim level and above, Tucson offers leather upholstery as standard.

Hyundai will provide better safety rating this time. The credit goes to the latest advanced safety systems. That includes driver attention warning, lane keeps assist, auto braking and forward collision-avoidance assist. Optionally, Tucson will get high beam assist, pedestrian detection, rain-sensing wipers, and smart cruise control.

2023 Hyundai Tucson Powertrain

We don’t exactly know yet if there will be changes under the bonnet. The most likely outcome for the all-new 2023 Hyundai Tucson is to keep its engine lineup. If that really happens, the North American version will get the same 2.0-liter GDI four-cylinder engine. This unit delivers 161 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, it comes with a standard 6-speed automatic gearbox. Whatsoever, this unit is offered on the base and SE trim levels.

Upper trims will get a 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated powertrain. It comes with more power and its output is rated at 181 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Dual-clutch or CVT transmission is still just a rumor. Until that happens, 2.4-liter comes with the same 6-speed automatic transmission. As for the fuel efficiency, 2023 Tucson delivers 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The optional 2.4-liter engine is rated at 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
