Ram officials have confirmed that they are working on the all-electric version of its popular 1500 full-size pickup truck. From information that’s available, the new truck will be called 2023 Ram 1500 EV, and it will debut sometime next year.
Ram confirmed that it would also ride on a new platform, and it will have fast charging to up to 150 kW. Generally speaking, Ram is targeting a range of up to 500 miles to keep up with rivals such as the F-150 Lightning, and the GMC Hummer EV model that can travel 350 miles. Interestingly, some of the new renderings are available, and the forthcoming tuck looks really futuristic.
What Do We Know About Its Exterior?
First of all, the 2023 Ram 1500 EV will ride on the new platform that will be scratched compared to the original model. Thanks to that, we should expect a more comfortable cabin and many benefits from it.

As far as we can see, the forthcoming truck will look futuristic, and it will dominate at the front with new headlights and big Ram lettering in the middle of the grille.
