According to many reports, the next generation should receive a complete redesign outside and inside. In general, that means we should expect more attractive exterior styling, followed by a very comfy and technology fulfill cabin.
The three-quarter-ton truck is top-rated since its debut, especially in the U.S. market. Like the Ram 1500, the new 2023 Ram 2500 should receive the same treatment inside. Basically, the manufacturer will use more quality materials, and it will fulfill the cabin with more techs. The massive center console hosts a new 12-inch touch screen that looks great, but it isn’t as user-friendly as the 8.4-inch version with real knobs and buttons.

Wireless charging is also available, as five USB ports, including a newer Type-C port. The full leather interior is used on the Luxury trim, as the open-pore wood accents, plus a 17-speaker/750-watt Harman Kardon audio system. This trim also includes an array of safety equipment like a 360-degree camera system, cargo-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, and forward-collision mitigation.
2023 Ram 2500 Powertrain Specs
The standard engine for the 2023 Ram 2500/3500 range is a gasoline-powered 6.4-liter V8. This unit is potent and is capable of producing 410 horsepower. In addition, it features a cylinder deactivation system to help save a bit of fuel during light use. On top of that, the manufacturer connects it to an 8-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive as the default arrangement. All-wheel drive comes optional and is standard choosing the Power Wagon.

Besides this engine, Ram also offers optional Cummins 6.7-liter inline-6 turbodiesel producing meaty 850 lb-ft of torque. However, this unit under the 2500 model has 370 horsepower, and it allows towing of a maximum of 19,370 pounds and a payload of 4,520 pounds.
Release Date and Price
The redesigned 2023 Ram 2500 will hit the markets sometime next year. Most likely that Ram will introduce it in the first quartal of the 2023 year. However, sales are expected to start not before summertime. The current 2500 Tradesman (Regular Cab) starts at $34,095, and we hope the new model should be in the same line.
