The upcoming 2023 Tesla Model X is coming to the markets once again. The manufacturer will deliver important mid-cycle upgrades to its popular SUV. The Model X will arrive with updated exterior styling and improved interior. On top of that, the Long Range variant will be more expensive than before. The all-electric three-row crossover-SUV also offers the Performance version.
A five-seat or six-seat variants are also in offer. It is a very modern model with a great level of practicality and capability. Some parts are looking futuristic and very premium. The performances are great and safety ratings are just impressive. The sales will begin later this year, so here’s everything you need to know.
2023 Model X Redesign
The 2023 Tesla Model X will continue to deliver the same styling you can find on the Model S. Normally, Model X is a crossover-SUV and it features a different shape. On top of that, it is a larger model, but we think Model X looks very modern and attractive. It comes with a unique appearance with a recognizable front fascia. Cleaner design is what makes this SUV so unique.
Furthermore, the sloping roofline is visible at first glance. The Model X comes with a higher ride and the front fascia is full of chrome accents. The falcon-wing doors are an option and Tesla will once again offer standard 17-inch wheels. The 2023MY comes with slightly larger exterior features, a blacked-out grille, and updated LED headlights and taillights.
Interior Gets Significant Updates
The forthcoming 2023 Tesla Model X will get a couple of interior updates. The steering wheel is changed, so the old three-spoke unit is gone. Instead, the manufacturer now offers a strange-looking but futuristic steering wheel. The center touchscreen is now horizontally-oriented, which comes as no surprise.
A fully digital instrument cluster remains, but the seats will now reportedly deliver even better comfort. As we said, Tesla offers everything from the five-seat to seven-seat layouts. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard, along with the navigation and new infotainment. Model X comes with impressive safety ratings and we expect to see new driver-assistance aids as well.
Charging, Driving Range, Acceleration
The all-new 2023 Tesla Model X will feature a triple-motor setup and a more powerful battery pack. Tesla claims up to 1020 horsepower and a standard four-wheel-drive for its Plaid variant. This SUV comes with a top speed of 162 mph and it will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
As for the improved battery pack, Model X will now provide up to 340 miles on a single charge. On top of that, the Long Range model will now deliver 360 miles of driving range. The base Model X will need 3.8 seconds to reach from 0 to 60 mph and its top speed is rated at 155 mph.
2023 Tesla Model X Price, Release Date
The 2023 Tesla Model X will now cost around $90,000 or slightly below that. The Long Range variant will start at over $100,000 and the Plaid version at $120,000. The sales will begin later this year and Tesla will reveal more details in the coming weeks.
