The Colorado-based pickup truck, 2023 Chevrolet S10, is coming to the markets this year. Unfortunately, according to the manufacturer, the new truck will be only available for the South American markets. Generally, Chevrolet’s goal is to dominate on this part of the world. Interestingly, a new batch of photos had been released recently by Chevrolet, and we must admit, the new Chevrolet S10 looks more attractive than the Colorado.
First things first, the front fascia looks slight fresh compared to the US pickup, but it still wears the same attractive grille and LED headlights. According to Chevy, the most visual changes are happening inside. So, expect more quality materials and plenty of new technology.

The upcoming 2023 Chevy S10 is the new mid-size pickup truck that looks more attractive than the US version of Colorado. However, compared to its predecessor, changes are not significant, so mild refreshments are present this time. Like before, GM will offer three body configurations includes single cab, double cab, and chassis cab versions.
For 2023, the front fascia is slightly revised, and now S10 is wearing an almost identical black grille as the US Colorado pickup. Interestingly, large CHEVROLET lettering is present upfront, as well as the more modern headlights. Generally, more black accents are used this time around fog lights, on the wheels, and on the roof racks.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the forthcoming 2023 Chevy S10 looks modern as well and is getting more high-tech features. Depending on the chosen form, single cab, double cab, or chassis cab, the cabin proportions will vary. Overall, expect this model to house three to five passengers comfortably. Besides, the interior of the upcoming S10 will also include some new amenities.
As standard equipment, the manufacturer offers 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, latest Chevy MyLink system, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, and optional wireless smartphone charging. However, more standard equipment is available on the upper trim High Country. This version offers navigation, more quality materials, and Bluetooth audio streaming for up to two devices.
2023 Chevrolet S10 Powertrain Specs
The powertrain lineup of the new 2023 Chevrolet S10 won’t change at all. This pickup truck will keep the same offer of two engine options. The base model will include a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with 206 hp, while optional is still a 2.8-liter diesel engine with 200 hp.
Moreover, from many reports, the manufacturer might, for the first time, introduce a new 3.6-liter V6. This mill is one of the most potent engine in the Chevy line of models, and it develops 310 horsepower. On the other hand, GM might also introduce a new 10-speed automatic transmission as well.
Release Date and Price
The release of the 2023 Chevy S10 will happen most likely this year. As we mentioned, the new truck will be available in five trim levels, two engines, and three body styles. Unfortunately, the manufacturer will only sell it for South American markets.
From the last statement of the Marketing Director Rodrigo Fioco, pre-orders of the newest Chevrolet S10 were started a few days ago, and most of the buyers demand the more-equipped versions.
