The all-new 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD will introduce a couple of essential updates. It seems like the buyers are still finding out what exactly is in the offer. For that reason, we’ll try to take a closer look at the offer and mention things that you probably didn’t know. Indeed, many fans are thinking the offer is confusing and with a bunch of updates for 2023, Silverado HD could be even more baffling.
Speaking of updates, the 2500HD truck will arrive with exterior and interior changes, new packages, and some new features. The sales will begin in the near future and here’s what this model has to offer.
Trim Levels
The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD won’t get any change in terms of trim level structure. As for the 2020 Silverado, the 2023 model will offer the Work Truck base trim level. The list continues with the Custom, LT, and LTZ versions. Lastly, there is High Country trim that is all about luxury. The rumors about the new trim level structure are obviously false so don’t expect to see anything new in this segment.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Gets New Exterior Colors
The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD will mostly remain in terms of design. Whatsoever, Chevy will deliver a few subtle exterior changes. The Shadow Gray Metallic and Cajun Red Tintcoat exterior colors are no longer available. Instead, Silverado 2500HD will now offer Mosaic Black Metallic and Cherry Red Tintcoat paints.
Moreover, the Alaskan Snow Plow Package now offers a different set of wheels. This package included 18-inch 6-spoke aluminum rims with Silver accents. Now, this package comes with 18-inch High Gloss Black aluminum wheels.
Interior Gets More Updates
The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD will get more major updates on the inside. For a start, this heavy-duty truck comes with a new front seat configuration. From now on, Work Truck and Custom trims will offer the front 40/20/40 split-bench front seat with armrest storage. However, this feature will be optional while the LT trim will offer it as standard.
Chevy will add lockable under-seat storage as well. The crew cab and double cab models are available with front bucket seats with a center console. As for the technology, Silverado 2500HD now features a pair of new USB ports on the instrument panel. A rearview auto-dimming mirror with partial video display is in the offer too.
Gasoline and Diesel Specs
Under the skin, one significant change will happen. The 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500HD will get optional E85 FlexFuel capability for the first time. We are talking about 6.6-liter V8 gasoline and this new option requires the JL1 trailer brake controller.
