The forthcoming 2023 Ram 700 is going on sale in South America later this year. This small pickup will enter its second-generation and it will introduce various upgrades. That includes a new platform and a new four-door body configuration known as Double Cab. Thanks to that, you can now use the new Ram 700 as both a family hauler and a work truck.
The manufacturer will offer three trim levels, the SLT, Big Horn, and the range-topping Laramie. The first two variants are offering the same powertrain option. However, Laramie will get a more potent powerplant. Ram also offers two cab setups and we should expect more luxury inside the cabin. New Ram 700 will be launched by the end of the year, most likely in the coming weeks.
Ram 700 Gets New Architecture

In terms of design, the new 2023 Ram 700 will now look closer to the original Ram 1500 that is sold in the United States. Of course, this is a smaller model, classified as a subcompact pickup truck. New-gen Ram 700 will look more stylish than its predecessor. Moreover, the front fascia comes with a more aggressive look thanks to the Rebel-like grille with bolder R-A-M letterings. This honeycomb grille looks very unique and stylish, but the rest of the front part is not far from that.
To the sides, new wheels are available and the rear part will get reshaped taillights. However, the most significant upgrade is the all-new platform. Thanks to the new architecture, Ram 700 will now offer both rear and front suspensions. The ride quality will be improved, along with the level of comfort inside the cabin and handling.
Interior Offers More Quality
The upcoming 2023 Ram 700 will get various interior refreshments. The highlight of the new cabin is a 7-inch Uconnect infotainment display. This unit is now offered as standard across all trim levels. The steering wheel and the seats are offering better grip. Thanks to that, off-roading adventures will be more pleasant now.
The infotainment is up to date and it is probably the best system you can get in South America. It looks sophisticated and it adds various features, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Ram 700 pickup will now offer wireless projection, additional places for your personal items, and much more. Lastly, we should expect from Ram to deliver new driver-assistance aids.
Ram 700 Pickup Gets More Power
New model will gain more power. The 2023 Ram 700 is available in three different trim levels. As we said, the first two trims are available with the same 1.4-liter engine. This unit is capable of producing 85 hp. However, the range-topping trim Laramie trim will use a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine with 98 horsepower.

The best part is that the 1.3-liter output will be upgraded. According to various reports, this engine will now generate 115 horses and 117 lb-ft of torque. Ram offers both five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission, which is another improvement for this small pickup truck.
2023 Ram 700 Release Date and Price
In terms of prices, the approaching 2023 Ram 700 will cost slightly below $12,000. On the other hand, the range-topping Laramie trim will start at around $15,000. New Ram 700 will become available by the end of 2022 and this model will be sold in fourteen different countries in South and Latin America.
