2023 Fisker Ocean: New Affordable All-Electric SUV. Right now, the 2023 Fisker Ocean is causing a huge splash in the automotive world. It is the brand-new all-electric SUV, and Fisker is calling it “the world’s most sustainable vehicle.” Ocean SUV is set to rival new Audi E-Tron and Tesla Model Y. Interestingly, Ocean is made of recycled materials, and its vegan-interior is a product of natural resources.
The California-based company will release the prototype on 4th January. The design looks very futuristic and unique. The interior looks modern, and you don’t have to worry about comfort. As for the driving range, Fisker will provide between 250 and 300 miles. The price should start at $40,000, and Fisker will open orders on 27 November.
Exterior Design
The all-new 2023 Fisker Ocean comes with a traditional SUV shape. The front fascia looks tall and flat, and it hosts thinner LED headlight bar below the hood. The front bumper looks aggressive, and side profile looks similar to the Range Rover Velar design. That includes lower roofline that slopes down towards the back of the vehicle. The roof is one larger solar panel that fills the battery on the sun. Fisker said it would use discarded waste from the car’s different components.
This should result in lowering the Ocean’s carbon footprint. Tesla and Ford are offering a popular “frunk.” On the other hand, Fisker will use that space for an efficient air-conditioning system. This will also provide more room inside the cabin. The rest of the exterior comes with flared wheel arches and narrow headlights. Moreover, the rear end is inspired by Alfa Romeo, and Ocean will look truly sporty and unique.
Range and Powertrain Specs
According to the American manufacturer, 2023 Fisker Ocean will deploy an 80kWh battery system. Moreover, Fisker promises between 250 and 300 miles on a single charge. The battery comes with a pair of electric motors on each axle, front and rear. This setup results in a four-wheel-drive. However, further performance details are not revealed yet.

That will happen in the next couple of days when Fisker take off the covers. To compare, Tesla Model Y offers 280 miles of range, and it sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. According to Fisker, Ocean will offer better figures. Just like the Model Y, Ocean will also go on sale with a single or dual-motor setups. Both models will use the same 80kWh battery pack as well. Finally, solar panels in the roof will provide enough power for 1000 miles of clean driving.
