Reportedly, the electric F-150 is also on the way, but it won’t debut for another year or two. Blue oval recently reveals that the new F-150 should come with multiple body styles and bed lengths.
Ford claims that the new hybrid powertrain will consist of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6, 1.5-kWh lithium-ion battery, 47 kW electric motor, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to these combinations, the hybrid should deliver a 430-hp hybrid and at least 700 miles of driving range per tank.

Like the regular version, the new 2023 Ford F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid host the same styling without any significant changes. Minor tweaks are present on the truck’s chassis, resulting in a more attractive front and rear end.
On the other hand, the hybrid model gets a unique suspension that will keep it quiet on the rough pavement. Unlike the regular version, the new PowerBoost Hybrid features an onboard generator system, which provides up to a substantial 7.2 kilowatts of electricity to outlets in the bed.

This edition comes with an 8.0-inch center touchscreen that can be upgraded to a slick 12.0-inch unit. Like all the newest Ford vehicles, the upcoming hybrid truck features the latest Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment software capable of wireless connectivity and over-the-air updates. Besides, the manufacturer also offers the optional 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster that is crisply rendered and easy to navigate.

Under the hood, the forthcoming Ford F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid will deploy a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 paired with a 47 kW electric motor and 1.5-kWh lithium-ion battery. Ford claims that hybrid will deliver a 400-hp hybrid and at least 700 miles of driving range per tank.
For reference, the famous Raptor version made 20 more horses but 60 fewer lb-ft of torque. Blue Oval also stated that the new PowerBoost Hybrid would use the specially made 10-speed automatic transmission. The electric version is also in the works, and it should be introduced alongside the hybrid one.
Release Date, Price
The debut of the newest 2023 Ford F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid will indeed happen this year. Many believe that it could be released towards the end of this year.
