The new Silverado 1500 is ready for another refreshment. Many reports indicates that the next generation 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 will get more attractive styling, followed by some revisions inside. Recently, the upcoming truck’s spy shots emerged online, and we firstly noticed a more robust design. On top of that, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 will be equipped with four-leaf rear suspension that is used on heavy-duty trucks.

As you probably know, Silverado is very competitive in the towing department. This truck can tow a maximum of 13,300 pounds but isn’t class-leading. The new Ford F-150 took first place in this category with a tremendous capacity of 14,100 pounds.

The Silverado Trail Boss truck is available as well. This variants sit higher, thanks to a lifted suspension. Lastly, top-line Silverado High Country is the most expensive, offering 20-inch wheels, chrome assist steps, high-intensity headlights, power-operated tailgate, and much more.

Cabin Update

The new 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 is a full-size pickup truck that deploys a wide range of engines. Generally, this model is one of the rarest in the segment that offers five engine options. It comes with a 4.3-liter V-6 engine, a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, two V-8s, and a Duramax diesel 3.0-liter inline-six. The most potent and the quickest is the 6.2-liter V8 mill that produces 420 horses and 460 lb-ft of torque. Reportedly, this version can run from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds. Just below this engine is a 5.3-liter that makes 355-hp that needs 6.1 seconds to reach 60 mph.

The four-cylinder turbocharged is available as well, delivering 310-hp. The most efficient is still a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel inline-6 that makes 277 horsepower. Its EPA city/highway rated 23/33 mpg (RWD), 23/29 mpg (4WD). The maximum towing of the new Silverado half-ton pickup is 13,300 pounds.
