2023 Ford Super Duty Changes and Rumors. The new 2023 Ford Super Duty will reportedly arrive next year, featuring refreshed styling. If you didn’t know, the Super Duty trucks include F-250, F-350, and F-450 models. Moreover, all variants are very known in the segment, offering robust design and one of the most equipment cabins.

Also, the Ford Super Duty has various towing capacities and payloads. It can carry loads of 7850 pounds and tow 24,000 pounds. However, adding a gooseneck hitch, it can tow a maximum of 37,000 pounds. Those stats are slightly better compared to the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra models. As far as we know, the Ford Super Duty models will continue to be available with the same three engines.

All upcoming 2023 Ford Super Duty trucks are big and robust. However, the design will vary depending on trim levels. The base XL model looks attractive, and it is equipped with 17-inch steel wheels as standard, while much bigger 18-inch alloy wheels are available on upper trim XLT.

The F-450 has a wider front than the rest of the range, because of its standard dual rear wheel arrangement. Bed lengths are 6.75 feet and eight feet. Lariat trim which is new, looks much more stylish than the regular models, especially wearing the Sport Appearance package.

The package includes a more attractive grille, side mirror housings, and bumpers in the same color as the body. In a similar vein, the manufacturer also offers a Black Appearance package that’s available with the lower XLT trim. This trim makes all models look sporty thanks to the black grille, wheels, and so on.

Cabin Features

The new 2023 Ford Super Duty is available with Regular, Super, and Crew cabs. No matter which cab you choose, all three are providing a roomy and comfortable cabin. The entry-level comes with a single-zone air conditioning, vinyl flooring and upholstery, remote start/lock/unlock, trailer sway control, trailer tow package, trailer hitch receiver, cargo bed lighting, and a removable tailgate. The infotainment system offers Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices, AM/FM radio, MP3 player, USB-C port, and four speakers.

Safety is also upgraded, and the new Ford Super Duty includes automatic on/off headlights, hill start assists, and an SOS post-crash alert system.

2023 Ford Super Duty Engine Specs

Under the hood, all the 2023 Ford Super Duty trucks come standard with a 6,2-liter V8 petrol engine, producing 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The machine is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. However, the much more enormous gasoline alternative is a 7.3-liter V8 unit. This one is capable of generating 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

Lastly, Blue Oval also offers an optional Power Stroke turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel V8, developing 450 horsepower and a stunning 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines are available with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The lower trims come standard with a rear-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is available on upper trims or optional on the base model.

Price, Release Date

The most affordable 2023 Ford Super Duty F-250 with a Regular cab is $34,700. However, a more powerful F-350 Crew Cab in Limited trim with dual rear wheels costs $89,715.

The Chevrolet Silverado HD, GMC Sierra HD, and Ram HD are models in the same class, and all cost similarly. As for the release, we can expect the new truck to arrive sometime next year as the 2023 model.
