2023 GMC Sierra 2500HD Powertrain Specs
The new 2023 GMC Sierra HD models are available with two engine options. The standard mill is a gas-powered 6.6-liter V-8 that creates 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque. It uses a smooth six-speed automatic transmission and rear or all-wheel drive.
The optional and stronger is the Duramax diesel 6.6-liter V-8. This engine creates 445 ponies and 910 lb-ft of twist, and it uses an advanced Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. Interestingly, the same two engines are available, choosing the Silverado HD models. Moreover, thanks to them, the GMC Sierra HD can tow from 18,000 up to 35,500 pounds.
Release Date and Price
Like many other companies, GMC, due to Coronavirus, rescheduled its plan to release many of its models. The new 2023 GMC Sierra 2500HD sales will most likely to starts in the middle of 2023.
