2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty

Blue Oval recently confirmed that it would refresh its whole line of 2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks, including F-250, F-350, and F-450 models. However, don’t expect the same overhaul as we saw recently on the F-150, but expect all of them to receive the newly available 12.0-inch touchscreen. The whole lineup of F-Series Super Duty trucks is very saleable, but for 2023, Ford isn’t giving the Super Duty trucks any significant visual changes.

Under the hood, the Ford Super Duty comes standard with a 6.2-liter V-8, while 7.3-liter V-8 and 6.7-liter Power Stroke are available as well. Thanks to potent engines, the Super Duty trucks can tow up to 37,000 pounds with a fifth-wheel and gooseneck hitch.

2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty Upgrades

The 2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks are visually unchanged. Generally, the only tweak is that it will get a new Atlas Blue exterior color. Moreover, appearance packages are the same, and the new Lariat sport package matches the Lariat versions bumpers, mirrors, and grille.

Meanwhile, the black appearance package is the best if you are looking for more sporty styling. Previously only available on the Lariat trim, the black package is as well now available on the XLT. This package adds black 20-inch wheels, body-colored bumpers and grille, running boards, and blacked-out Ford badges.

New 12.0-inch Touchscreen

The biggest updates of the 2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty is inside. All models will get tweaks, featuring more quality materials and techs. However, like the outgoing model, the new one will also come with the same seating layout. However, to get the new 12.0-inch touchscreen, you’ll have to select the Lariat version or above.

This trim also comes with the latest Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment system and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Unlike the Ford F-150 that comes with a 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster, the Super Duty trucks are available standard with a 4.2-inch screen.

The latest Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks are available with the same engines as before. The entry-level model uses a 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. However, the next one is a stronger 7.3-liter V-8 that generates a 430-hp. This engine is the most favorite, but not so fuel-friendly. The last one is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V-8 with 475 horsepower and amazing 1050 lb-ft of torque.

All models are available either with a rear or four-wheel-drive system. Also, all of them are equipped with the new smooth six or 10-speed automatic transmission. Generally, the Super Duty trucks are one of the best in the market in many departments. This truck can tow up to 37,000 pounds with a fifth-wheel and gooseneck hitch.

Release Date and Price

The new Ford F-Series Super Duty will arrive with minimal changes outside. Interestingly, the manufacturer will make the cabin more pleasant by adding more quality materials and the new 12.0-inch touchscreen.

Blue Oval claims that all models, including Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450, should be available to purchase later in the year. However, pricing is not yet determined, but we can expect it to be in the range of the outgoing model.
