The all-new 2023 Infiniti QX70 is making a comeback. Infiniti killed this model three years ago. Now, the mid-size crossover is making a return. It will be the new-gen model that will arrive with a complete redesign. The interior will also suffer a lot of changes. On top of that, QX70 will ride on a new engine.
That means the previous and larger 5.0-liter unit will be replaced with a smaller output. According to Infiniti, the new 2023 QX70 will be an elegant crossover with premium design. The interior will also be very upscale and a five-seat layout will be present. The new crossover will also offer more interior room than its predecessor.
2023 QX70 Exterior Redesign

The new model will get a complete redesign. The 2023 Infiniti QX70 now offers new styling and it looks more attractive. Exterior changes are significant. After all, it is the new-generation model. Infiniti already offers a QX50 crossover. It is dimensionally almost the same model as the new QX70. For that reason, the 2023 QX70 will surely depart in terms of design and styling.
This could be the beginning of the company’s newest design language. This crossover is a perfect candidate for that and at the right time. QX70 will share its underpinnings with the Nissan Murano. However, Infiniti will deliver unique design that will surely make a real standout. The manufacturer promises elegant crossover with coupe-like appearance. Basically, all of the exterior features will be all-new.
Interior Overhaul
Infiniti’s newest crossover will get an interior overhaul. Radical changes are about to happen. However, the 2023 Infiniti QX70 is again available in a five-seat configuration. On the other hand, the cabin will host far fewer buttons. Most of the controls will be on the all-new display. Moreover, mid-size crossover offers plenty of new high-tech features and safety systems.
The traditional analog clock is available once again, which is a good thing. Infiniti also promised an optional third-row which should happen before 2023. However, we don’t know if the 2023 QX70 will offer the third row. The new platform will provide more interior room and we expect a lot of luxury from the inside. On top of that, Premium and Technology Packages are available again.
New Engine and Transmission
The previous generation was using a 5.0-liter V8 engine, but that was years ago. New 2023 Infiniti QX70 will use a smaller output, a 3.7-liter V6. It is a very reliable powertrain that can produce 325 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. QX70 crossover will offer a new 7-speed automatic transmission. However, you can switch to the manual-shift mode.
Furthermore, the mid-size crossover also offers the Adaptive Shift Control system. This system learns the way driver is shifting gears and it will try to replicate that. The new platform is borrowed from Nissan Murano so QX70 will be a front-wheel-drive model. Of course, AWD system will be optional.
2023 Infiniti QX70 Price and Release Date
New-generation 2023 Infiniti QX70 will start at $48,000. The pricing details are yet to be announced. However, reliable reports are suggesting a price below $50,000 for the base model. The upcoming mid-size crossover will arrive at the beginning of 2023.
