2023 Mitsubishi L200 Powertrain Option

Under the hood, the latest 2023 Mitsubishi L200 will most likely keep the same engine as the outgoing one. This truck deploys a 2.4-liter diesel engine that is capable of producing around 180 horses. However, many believe that alongside this powertrain will be offered a one new. As we mentioned, the L200 will ride on the new platform capable of bearing some hybrid powertrain option.

Moreover, many gossips are predicting a 2.3-liter dCi engine. The same powertrain we saw under the new Nissan Navara pickup. Generally, that does make sense, considering that both models are sharing the same platform. Under the Navara truck, this engine can produce 148 horsepower, which isn’t that much. However, if you are looking for the most efficient model, the hybrid variant is worth waiting for.
