Nissan’s lineup of crossovers and SUVs is aging. For that reason, most of the lineup will suffer serious refinements. The 2023 Nissan Rogue is one of the models that will introduce the latest upgrades. Whatsoever, Rogue is the first model that has been spotted wearing heavy camouflage. The spy photos are showing the redesigned Rogue Sport variant, along with the regular Rogue model.
The new styling is inspired by Nissan’s concepts such as Xmotion and IMQ. Rogue is a perfect example of how the brand’s new design language could look like. The interior will also get important updates, including new infotainment. Under the hood, Rogue could introduce a new engine option but this is not official yet.
2023 Rogue Spy Photos
The 2021 Rogue will arrive with more modern styling and lower ride. Moreover, the new model will be an inch shorter. As for the 2023 Nissan Rogue, this model has been spied with heavy camouflage. Moreover, the Rogue Sport variant has also been caught on cameras. Both prototypes are getting further upgrades and Nissan will use the same styling cues that are presented on crossover concepts such as IMQ and Xmotion.
Thanks to that, both models will look more upscale. However, camouflage perfectly hides most of the design. However, we can easily spot “multi-level” LED headlights, separated LED daytime running lights and a new front bumper.
Interior Refreshments
The all-new 2023 Nissan Rogue will also gain various interior updates. According to Nissan, Rogue SUV will arrive with a much-improved infotainment system. Moreover, we should expect the latest driver-assistance aids. The cabin design should not change, along with the interior layout. As we said, Rogue will be one inch shorter but it will provide more interior room.
The Japanese manufacturer provided so smart storage layout and cargo volume is better than before. More precisely, Rogue will now offer an improvement of 4.1 cubic feet of space. As for the tech, nothing is official yet. We believe Rogue will offer the same 8.0-inch touchscreen as the standard display choice. We expect more luxury on the inside so new upholstery could be on the cards.
Modified Platform
The 2023 Nissan Rogue and Rogue Sport will get an updated version of the CMF modular architecture. This platform comes with a standard front-wheel-drive system and a reliable continuously variable transmission. Thanks to the latest modifications, Rogue SUV will provide better ride quality. The comfort will be better and we are waiting to hear if Nissan will provide further changes beneath the skin.
Rogue Hybrid In The Works
A new engine is a possibility for the 2023 Nissan Rogue. However, the current 2.0-liter inline-four will surely remain standard engine choice. This unit is capable of producing 141 hp. However, a mild-hybrid setup should become available. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
As for the battery-electric power, Nissan will firstly launch Ariya electric crossover. After that, Rogue could be in line to get an all-electric variant. The current 2.0-liter engine provides 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
2023 Nissan Rogue Price and Release Date
The upcoming 2023 Nissan Rogue will now cost around $27,500. Moreover, the range-topping Platinum trim level will become available for $38,000. The compact crossover will arrive next summer. Rogue in markets outside the US can be found under the “Qashqai” name.
