The upcoming 2023 Toyota RAV4 will be released at the end of this year with some exterior facelift. Furthermore, most of the changes will be visible on the new TRD Off-Road trim. The current model provides 26 mpg in the city/ 34 mpg on the highway and 29 mpg combined. However, with the release of the new one, customers can expect even better consumption. The towing capacity is excellent, and with the adventure model, the towing goes up to 3500 pounds.

The 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid will also be on the offer. Of course, this variant will be more efficient than the base engine. Under the hood of this model is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder connected to the two electric motors. According to the latest news, the gas engine produces 175-horsepower.

However, two electric motors will crunk 200 horsepower. This engine is available with controlled, continuously variable transmission (CVT) transmission. The CVT will reduce transmission losses by 25 percent compared to the current model. The fuel economy of this model is 41 mpg in the city and 37 on the highway as 39 mpg combined.

From the latest reports, the 2023 Toyota RAV4 will keep the same price as the predecessor. The current Toyota RAV4 model starts at $25,500. However, the TRD Off-Road will cost slightly higher at around $32,900. The release of this model will be at the end of this year. In the same time, we can expect models like Honda CR-V, Ford Escape and Nissan Rogue.
