New Honda Pilot Redesign 2023 – Honda last reinvigorated its three-row SUV Pilot in 2019 and later in 2020, adding a new Black Edition trim level. While the change for the Honda Pilot Redesign 2023 is not drastic but along with pricing for the New year model, automakers have announced another new trim level. The new trim level will be called Special Edition (SE) but it will not actually be a limited model, just trim between EX-L and Touring.
2023 Honda Pilot Concept Special Edition is built on top of the popular EX-L trim but adds a number of notable features, previously exclusive to higher trim levels. These include standard double zone climate control, 20-inch black wheels, roof rails, grille, and black accents, foot-activated handsfree rear trays, and wireless phone chargers. This special edition also features a standard nine-speed automatic transmission instead of six speeds and other EX-L features such as leather seats, a second-line sun Protector, and a power-adjustable driver seat.
New Honda Pilot Redesign 2023 Features
Above the special edition of the Touring Pilot sits, which still includes fancy features such as a built-in navigation system, BLU-Ray rear-seat entertainment, parking sensors, in-car Wi-Fi, a heated second-line seat, and a second available-captain seat. The Honda Pilot Elite offers the captain’s seat as standard and adds a double moonroof, a ventilated front seat, automatic dimming and folding side-view mirrors, a rain-sensing wiper, and a heated steering wheel.
Black Edition continues to be the top trim level and includes cool style features such as black wheels, black exterior accents, red interior lighting, and red highlights in perforated skin. For the year 2023, the Black edition can now be ordered with White Pearl Platinum paint next to Crystal Black.
New Honda Pilot Redesign 2023 Price
The price for Honda Passport LX 2023 (2WD) starts from $32,250 before a destination fee of $1,120. This is a $600 minor price increase from last year’s model. The new SE Pilot Model is priced at $38,960 (or $40,960 with AWD), placing it over the EX-L ($38,360 with 2WD) but under the Touring ($42,920 with 2WD). Honda continues to offer only one choice of engines on its pilot, the V6 3.5 liter which produces 280 horsepower. Pilot 2023 will arrive at the dealership this year.
Three years of his tenure since the last major update, the Pilot continues to be a strong seller in the intermediate three-line SUV segment. However, with the guys like Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade now in the arena, along with the Toyota Highlander Star, Honda may have a suitable job for him. Can the new semi-luxury trim give a profit?
