A 5.7-liter unit will be optional, and it delivers 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, Jeep offers a 3.0-liter diesel engine. This unit is available in Wrangler SUV and Ram 1500 pickup truck.

Diesel will deliver 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of twisting power. We believe that hybrid powertrain is not on the cards right now. However, Cherokee is available in seven trim levels, and it offers numerous powertrain options. Moreover, a new engine is a possibility, so there is no room for a hybrid system right now. Lastly, if you want a more powerful version, SRT trim level will produce incredible performance thanks to its 6.2-liter turbocharged V8.
