Once it arrives, the new 2023 Jeep Gladiator Convertible will use a 3.6-liter V6 engine. It is one of the most deployed units in the FCA’s lineup of vehicles. This reliable V6 can produce 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The customers are avoiding buying the 2020 Gladiator because there is no diesel engine in the offer.

Luckily, the 2023 Gladiator will get an optional 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel powertrain. This engine is good for 260 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, Jeep will offer a 6-speed manual transmission, besides the standard 8-speed automatic gearbox.
